Tottenham have been linked with a move for the FC Nurnberg striker Stefanos Tzimas.

The 18-year-old has done quite well for Nurnberg and the German club has an option to sign him permanently for a fee of around €18 million. He is currently on loan from PAOK and it will be interesting to see if the German outfit decides to make his move permanent.

According to a report from BILD, they could look to sign the player permanently and then sell him immediately for a profit. Tottenham, Chelsea, West Ham and Newcastle are keen on signing the player and the German club are looking to set an asking price of around €24 million for the player.

It will be interesting to see if they can execute the move in the coming months.

Tottenham could certainly use another striker and the 18-year-old would be a solid long-term investment for them.

The opportunity to move to the Premier League will be quite exciting for the young attacker as well and regular football in England could accelerate his development. Tottenham could help him fulfil his tremendous potential in the coming seasons. They have an exciting project and a talented squad at their disposal. They have a charismatic manager in Ange Postecoglou as well.

The reported €24 million asking price is certainly affordable for a club with Tattenham’s resources and it remains to be seen whether they are ready to pay up.

The Greek forward is highly rated across Europe and he has a bright future. He could develop into a top-class attacker for Tottenham with the right guidance. The €24 million outlay could look like a major bargain in the future.

Spurs will look to fight for major trophies in the coming season and they need to improve their squad.
