60 Second Video: Kane On Champions League Situation

By The Boy -

More questions are asked than answered in Tottenham’s post match interviews these days.

This one, courtesy of BT Sport tells a little. Harry acknowledges that the 2 goal lead didn’t tell the whole story, the mountain Olympiakos had to climb was little more than a hillock.

Spurs didn’t look anything like the team that bossed Palace into a 4-0 loss last Saturday, and this is something I’ll be delving into in another blog.

As for Kane, the 26-year-old must be wondering what he has to do, to start enjoying his football again.

Kane needs to get back the focus and concentration he had BEFORE he was paid market rate to stay at THFC.

That or go and start a fight with Adebayor again.

The answer to that last question is probably move……and he probably know it.

I think Kane knows what he needs to do, he just needs to reconcile that with himself. For as much as I love the guy, he needs to leave Spurs. With ENIC at the helm and Poch playing tinkerman, its clear to see our aspirations are top 4 again. At 26 (27 next season) Kane at City would break Shearer scoring record and would win at least 4 top awards, maybe even FIFA player of the year. I really cant see Spurs (ENIC and Poch) doing what needs to be done to win the CL. Poch needs to basically prioritise it, and/or ENIC needs to invest. Neither will happen in Harry’s playing lifetime.
