27-yr-old UCL winner ‘could be a part of all the conversations’ in a part-exchange deal to sign Spurs star

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old is into the final 12 months of his contract and he is yet to sign an extension with the north London giants.

Kane has been one of the best players in the world during his time at Spurs but he is yet to win a single trophy with the north London outfit.

It wouldn’t be surprising if the England international decided to join a club capable of winning major trophies this summer.

Real Madrid are reportedly keen on signing him and a report from Cadena Ser claims that the Spanish giants could offer Ferland Mendy in a deal to sign the 29-year-old. The Champions League-winning full-back ‘could be a part of all the conversations’.

Kane has 32 goals across all competitions this season are he could prove to be the ideal long-term replacement for Karim Benzema. The French international has been linked to the move away from Real Madrid this summer. Apparently, the striker has an offer from a Saudi Arabian club.

Kane is one of the best strikers of his generation and he is certainly good enough to play for a club like Real Madrid who are used to competing for major trophies every season.

Tottenham are clearly not at the level of Real Madrid yet, and it makes sense for the England international to move on.

Given his contract situation, Tottenham are powerless to stop him from leaving. They will have to cash in on him this summer if he refuses to sign an extension. They cannot afford to lose a player of his quality on a free transfer next year.
