Brentford striker Ivan Toney has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old striker is expected to join a big club in the summer and he has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
Former Premier League footballer and popular pundit Steve Nicol has now urged the striker to move to Tottenham instead of their rivals. Nicol revealed that the 27-year-old has an impressive goal tally in the Premier League and Tottenham would be the best destination for him.
“It’s very difficult to argue with the stats. The guy’s goalscoring record in the Premier League is really, really good. I think Tottenham would be the best destination for him. I don’t believe Liverpool, City or Arsenal is the place for him,” he said to ESPN.

The North London club certainly need a quality striker who can lead the line for them. Toney would be the ideal replacement for Harry Kane, who left the club at the start of the season.
While the likes of Son Heung-min and Richarlison have done a job for Spurs this season, neither of them are natural centre forwards. Toney would add a new dimension to their attack.
Apart from his ability to score consistently, the 27-year-old is very good at holding the ball up and bringing others into play.
The 27-year-old will be determined to compete in the Champions League and if Tottenham managed to secure a top four finish this season, they could be an attractive destination for him.
It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can secure an agreement. Toney is unlikely to be cheap acquisition and Daniel Levy will have to pay a premium for him.
