27-year-old Tottenham-linked player reacts to Ange signing on social media

Tottenham completed a deal to sign Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth earlier.

The 26-year-old is expected to strengthen the club’s attacking unit and score goals consistently. The London club missed a reliable goalscorer like him last season and they will be delighted to have finally replaced Harry Kane.

Solanke had an exceptional campaign with Bournemouth last season and he scored 21 goals in all competitions.

Spurs will be hoping to compete for domestic trophies next season and they will look to get back into the Champions League as well. Someone like Solanke could prove to be a game-changer for them in the final third. Apart from his ability to score goals, his hold-up play and the tendency to bring others into the game could prove to be invaluable.

Naturally, a number of players were impressed with the signing as well. Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven shared his joy on social media after the signing and he was joined by former Tottenham players Dele Alli and Kyle Walker-Peters as well. Both players seemed happy with the signing and they shared their thoughts through comments on Dominic Solanke’s Instagram post.

Walker-Peters’ comment will certainly grab eyeballs, especially after links with a return to the club.

The 27-year-old full-back has been linked with a move back to Spurs and it will be interesting to see if the Londoners decide to make a move for him, especially after the departure of Emerson Royal. He knows the club well and he could be a useful player for them.
