Tottenham Hotspur are looking to improve their midfield options this summer and they are looking to raid Leeds United for Tyler Adams.
The Leeds United star is expected to return to the Premier League next season and he is unlikely to play in the Championship with the recently relegated Whites.
Adams has been a key player for Leeds in the Premier League and a report from 90 min claims that the player is an option for Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle and Tottenham this summer.
Apparently, clubs from Germany, Italy and Spain are tracking the player as well.
Tottenham need to add more quality and depth to their midfield this summer and Adams would be a quality acquisition. He is a proven performer in the Premier League and he could make an immediate impact at the north London club.
Tottenham have not been able to rotate players like Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg due to the lack of depth in the side. The arrival of Adams will allow Tottenham to shuffle their options more often.
The 24-year-old American International will be desperate to prove himself at the highest level and the opportunity to play for Tottenham would be an exciting option for him.
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can beat the competition from the other three Premier League clubs and secure his signature in the coming months. Clubs like Manchester United and Newcastle are in the CHampions League and they have considerable resources as well. Winning the race for Adams’ signature won’t be straightforward for Spurs.
