22-yr-old ‘one of the first names’ on Tottenham radar, €40m would get deal done

Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee has been linked with a move away from the club and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on him.

According to TMW, the 22-year-old attacker is ‘one of the first names’ on the Tottenham wish list, and it remains to be seen whether the North London club can get a deal done.  A fee of around €40 million would be enough to secure his signature and Zirkzee could prove to be a quality long-term acquisition for the Premier League club.

Tottenham need to bring in a quality striker in the long run and the Dutchman could prove to be the ideal replacement for Harry Kane. Spurs chose not to replace him at the start of the season and they were hoping that the likes of Richarlison can step up and fill the void left by the England international.

That has not been the case so far and Spurs will have to bring in a quality striker.

Zirkzee is certainly good enough for the Premier League and he could prove to be a long-term investment for the north London giants.

Spurs have done well to improve their squad in recent weeks, but they still need to bring in a reliable striker who can lead the line for them.

They have been overly dependent on Son Heung-min for goals this season. The South Korean international needs more support in the attack and Zirkzee could be a quality option.

The Bologna striker has eight goals and four assists to his name across all competitions season and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can get a deal done.
