21-year-old ‘would like’ PL transfer, a ‘very good solution’ to Tottenham problems

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Genoa defender Radu Dragusin.

The 21-year-old Romanian defender has made a name for himself in the Italian league with his performances for Genoa and it is no surprise that Tottenham are keen on him.

According to ProSport, the defender ‘would like’ to join a club in the Premier League and he would be a ‘very good solution’ to Tottenham’s problems. The North London outfit need more defensive depth and Dragusin would be a quality long-term addition for them.

The 21-year-old is a prodigious talent with a bright future ahead of him and he could develop into a key player for Tottenham with the right coaching and guidance. He is already operating at a high level with Genoa and there is no doubt that he is good enough to succeed in the Premier League.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has done well to nurture talented young players during his time at Celtic and he could help the 21-year-old Romanian defender develop into a top-class Premier League defender as well.

Dragusin could be available for a reasonable price and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham try and test Genoa’s resolve with an offer in January.

Tottenham will be desperate for Champions League qualification and they need to plug the gaps in their squad in the coming weeks. Signing a central defender should be their top priority and Dragusin would be a solid, long-term investment for them.
