As the seasons go by, those of us the front line blogging on the pavement know that window by window, the mood of the fans has become increasingly edgy, frequently horrible. @gethill on my time line summed it up eloquently this morning, calling it pure entitlement. What a depressingly accurate summation. We quite definitely appear to be rubbing shoulders in our support with a sub species of fan. One looking to sneer and ideally shout ‘W*nkers!’ at someone, anyone.

So I ask what would you have done? Try if you’re able not to bitch and moan about anything else in your response to my question. Try, if you can to be succinct and answer the question.
