Tottenham are keen on signing Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest at the end of the season.
A report from Football Insider claims that they are in pole position to sign the 24-year-old versatile midfielder in the summer and the report describes the Nottingham Forest star as an “Ange Postecoglou player”.
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham come forward with an offer to sign the midfielder in the summer. He could prove to be a quality acquisition for the North London club and his versatility will be an added bonus. He can slot in as the number ten as well as a wide player.
Gibbs-White will add flair, creativity, drive, and technical attributes in the final third. He will help create goalscoring opportunities and chip in with goals as well.
The midfielder has been an excellent performer for Nottingham Forest in the Premier League and he is certainly good enough to play for a top club. Tottenham could be competing in the UEFA Champions League next season and the opportunity to join them will be an attractive option for the player.

Tottenham have been overly dependent on James Maddison for creativity and goals from the central areas in the midfield. They need to add more depth to that position and the signing of Morgan Gibbs-White would be a wise investment. The 24-year-old is entering his peak and he will want to compete at a high level. A move to Tottenham could provide him with that opportunity.
Nottingham Forest are unlikely to sanction his departure for a reasonable price and it wouldn’t be surprising if Tottenham are told to pay a premium.
