Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with a move for the Barcelona winger Raphinha.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a return to the Premier League and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham can convince him to join the club.
According to a report from Mundo Deportivo via SportWitness, the former Leeds United winger’s return to the Premier League is realistic and he could end up at Tottenham who have the financial muscle to get the deal done.
Barcelona are reportedly looking to sell players in order to raise funds and they will look to recoup €55 million for the Brazilian international.
Raphinha has been an important player for them, but he’s not an indispensable asset. The 27-year-old has nine goals and 12 assists in all competitions. Tottenham could certainly use someone with his skill set and it remains to be seen whether the North London club can convince the player to join the club.
Apparently, the player is not keen on leaving Barcelona just yet. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. Tottenham will have to add more creativity and goals to their attack and the Brazilian international is versatile enough to operate on both flanks. He will add goals and flair in the final third.
The Brazilian knows the Premier League well from his time at Leeds and he should be able to make an immediate impact. Tottenham will be hoping to push for Champions League qualification and trophies next season. They must look to sign quality players in the summer and Raphinha would be a superb acquisition.
