We have the owners we have, we have an unfinished shopping mall and no home ground. It is what it is, but one decent signing in the summer would have at least respected the fans.

De gea was not hte difference between the two teams today. Their desire was. And dare i say it – they played with more fluency than we did. They turned up and were resolute as we famously woke up once we fell behind. Chase chase chase to no avail.
They rode their luck, they are ‘in a good moment’ as every foreign manager in the league would have it, and they toughed it out.
Really, on the balance of chances and play, we coulda/shoulda edged the game – I see it as the opposite of the Chelsea performance. We were like Chelsea in this game – and we praised Chelsea in the mid week…so we shouldn’t totally destroy the team for this one.

We have needed an experienced quality central midfielder for well over year now, as Wanyama and Dembele are no longer fit for purpose.
Dier, Winks and Sissoko are our only options, that just isn’t good enough if you’re serious. Dier is a converted centre back, Sissoko a converted wide player and Winks is a bit too lightweight and inexperienced at the moment.
