City don’t sell to rivals, didn’t bother levy.

  • Tappaspur January 13, 2019 at 10:19 pm

Innincho (Leicester) can help us. How much would he be then? Knows the league and can play. Ive always rated him.

    • Tizzy January 13, 2019 at 10:39 pm

Iheanacho moved to Leicester for 25mil so it would be more than that. Would probably cost 40m and they wouldnt sell him anyway.

    Jansen.

Will surely plunge Poch into the transfer market this month?

      • Tappaspur January 13, 2019 at 10:09 pm

Play straight away players have to be very very good. The runway is too short now. Not wanting to be negative but I cant see a way out of this no kane no son situation. Though I know we’ll find one. 🙂

        • Tizzy January 13, 2019 at 10:25 pm

Last time he was ot for 3 weeks with an ankle injury but only missed 2 games. However, I think this is his left and not the usual right ankle and could mena anything. We will all know in 24 hours how bad but I bet he will b back in time for Fulham

  • Billy the yid January 13, 2019 at 9:33 pm

I’m afraid guys we are now reaping what the little fucker has sewn. You cannot run as a business to make money for others and a football club. They made their decision a long time ago in a galaxy far away. The football club is not a concern for them. And as for bringing kids thru, I’m all for it but a time and place. Don’t throw them in in a semii final against the rent boys and think it’s gonna be OK cos it ain’t. We have the top paid chairman. A top paid manager. The most expensive building since God knows when. And a group of players who are disillusioned, knackered, as shut as it sounds underpaid. Delete as appropriate. If anyone thinks that this is as good as we’ve had it I despair. Every big team so far has beaten us bar chelski. So we ain’t moved on. Reality is we are going backwards and not slowly either. Still ain’t done a Leeds have we. Yet….

    • Mikespurs January 13, 2019 at 9:38 pm

Might try & do a leeds & hire their manager if poch leaves

  • Elevenstonedidiots January 13, 2019 at 9:25 pm

Im not blaming him but Jans only weakness , pace, was exposed by Rashford. Sanchez would have had the pace to sheppard him out over the line.

    • Mikespurs January 13, 2019 at 9:34 pm

Dont disagree. Which is why we need to sign both for long term contracts & mix them in with foyth & Sanchez depending on the opposition. Manu set up to play fast up front. But neither foyth or Sanchez has the positional awareness as toby & van. Plus Van’s first game back after 2 months. Put the speed of those two being taught by the other two……..we have our future in a few years

Had enough poking of the entrails for one evening. Can’t believe i got suckered back into the hopium over the last two months as at the beginning of the season i had completely written us/the project off and promised myself just to take a step back and try and have a laugh about the total fuckwittery of Enic, Levy, Poch le Brave and so on. This is where it leads, hope and the crushing of.

    • East Stand January 13, 2019 at 9:21 pm

It’s Poch’s fault, he’s built a culture at the club that ENIC and Levy both don’t want or understand…

Spot on…and it drags the fans along in false hope…do we really think we can win the league cup…

Poch is a driven, decent football maniac who brings the best out of his players.

ENIC are dull venture capitalists with no place at a top football club employing people with such different aspirations to theirs.

Fernando Llorente has made over 20 EPL appearances for us as a substitute last season and this. Would anyone care to take a guess at the return we have got from those appearances, in terms of goals scored (his job)?

    ZERO
    Z E R O
    Z E R O
    Z E R O

IN THE EPL BEING BROUGHT ON AS A SUBSTITUTE HE HAS NEVER SCORED FOR US, EVER, NEVER EVER, NOT ONCE.

But he is on the bench, week in, week out, and we keep bringing him on over and over again. It is proof of the madness that is THFC.

    • paul January 13, 2019 at 8:24 pm

Our plan B, C and D relies on a 33 year old player who it can be shown beyond any shadow of a doubt has utterly failed by any metric you care to measure him by to be completely unable to do the job for which he collects seventy grand each and every week. He has never done it, he is never going to be do it. Just remember that.

    • dilly January 13, 2019 at 8:27 pm

In fairness LLorente was Swans top scorer before he joined Spurs. The fact that he his not suited to our style of play is another story following the likes of Jannsenn and Soldado to have failed to make the grade.
So why not select our starlet Troy Parrott to the first team???

      • paul January 13, 2019 at 8:30 pm

There is just no ‘in fairness’ about it Dilly. He is an utter failure from start to finish from top to bottom, to keep him on and continue to pay him is utter madness. Any sensible business would have cut him, Jansenn and N’doodoo loose with a pay off long ago. Unless of course you’re ENIC and you need to preserve a particularly unpleasant illusion.

      • Marsinho January 13, 2019 at 8:33 pm

Liorente will score but as we’ve seen too often he wants that ball laid to he’s feet literally made to fit……troy parrot young maybe so but i say bed’em in early.

        • dilly January 13, 2019 at 8:37 pm

Throwing caution to the wind I would have either put Llorente on after HT or give him 30 mins in the 2nd half.

          • Marsinho January 13, 2019 at 8:55 pm

I would’v given KWP the 2nd half since tripp was back to he’s self destruct mode and offered nothing forward and yes chasing 1-0 behind it wouldn’t be a bad idea in bringing liorente earlier on, he did make an impression in that small cameo in fairness to him.

            • dilly January 13, 2019 at 9:13 pm

Whilst KWP is raw IMO he is an exciting pacy defender offering an effective attacking outlet committing opponents when required.

              • dilly January 13, 2019 at 9:19 pm

How many times do Davies and Tripier beat their man and supply dangerous crosses from the byline into the mixer. Sadly none!

                • Marsinho January 13, 2019 at 9:21 pm

Easy answer, never and come to think i cant remember if both even got anywhere near the flanks in truth but i’l gooogle it just case i’ve missed out on.

                • Marsinho January 13, 2019 at 9:24 pm

Byline’s a no go area for those 2 lumps.

          • paul January 13, 2019 at 9:04 pm

I’m sorry but are you two completely deluded or what?? Why would you have thrown him on at HT Dilly? When will he score Mars? Aren’t you reading the facts, he has NEVER scored for us in the league when brought on as a substitute. Continually doing something and getting the same non result but continuing to do it in the hope the outcome will be different is the very definition of madness!

            • dilly January 13, 2019 at 9:10 pm

In theory LLorente provides a potent aerial threat of knock downs and can score!

            • Marsinho January 13, 2019 at 9:13 pm

He was the only option on the bench and we needed fresh legs and you can see kane by then was running on empty.

  • East Stand January 13, 2019 at 8:10 pm

Let’s be honest, nobody on this blog expected us to be even mentioned in the so called ‘title race’ this season.

Two whole seasons with no home ground, minimal investment compared to our rivals and zero investment this summer.

I said before the season started that we would be doing well to get in the top 4 and that would be a very decent season under the circumstances.

I also thought that we’d finish above both Woolwich and Liverpool, however over £200m has now changed that with regards to Liverpool.

We have the owners we have, we have an unfinished shopping mall and no home ground. It is what it is, but one decent signing in the summer would have at least respected the fans.

Two seasons at Wembley to put up with and ENIC can’t even soften the blow with ONE bloody signing?!

They are taking everyone for a ride and have been for close to two decades…

    • Paddio January 13, 2019 at 8:31 pm

No we all thought City would run away with it. But there is (maybe was) a sniff of a chance, we’ve had two weeks of a transfer window open, but the cowardly lion Levy being caught up in his own incompetence has missed that opportunity, christ he can’t even get players the manager wants kept signed up on new deals. It’s not being spursy it’s our chairman’s definition of success is an issue

      • East Stand January 13, 2019 at 8:37 pm

It’s all about expectation management, it’s all being stage managed. Levy isn’t interested in the title, if we win the title with no home ground where’s the justification for 1bn of stadium debt?

The whole stadium thing was based around selling a dream to the fans and it was regular Champions League, Poch has delivered that early so the excuses for the stadium shenanigans have almost run out.

Win the title and there are no excuses left…

        • Paddio January 13, 2019 at 8:45 pm

Cost of a stadium in what is one of the greatest city’s in the world was always going to be high. I think you give too much credit for anything being staged managed.
Walking in as champions to new stadium would sort a lot of sponsorship out and sales, but levy is like Gordon brown selling off our gold at the lowest price.

          • East Stand January 13, 2019 at 9:20 pm

Levy and ENIC do not speculate to accumulate, they just accumulate slowly at a glacial risk averse rate. Slow slow in fact that the world moves on and leaves them with defunct currency.

The NFL and lots of match day tat and booze to empty your wallet was still relevant in the early noughties, when this gaff was dreamt up…

  • Willie! January 13, 2019 at 8:04 pm

Their keeper played well and we weren’t clinical enough.
Thin squad is starting to show, playing Sissoko match after match after match without adequate rest – surprise surprise, he picks up an injury.
We looked most dangerous with Llorente on the pitch, knocking them down for Kane, though it took way too long to start attempting that tactic after bringing him on – how many times do we put that big lump on late, then fail to lob them in to him, when his best asset is winning balls in the air? It’s mind boggling. Need midfield reinforcements in this window, badly. Doucoure wants out of Watford, he’d be a decent squad player, though we need a DM in addition to a box to box player.

    • East Stand January 13, 2019 at 8:16 pm

We could do worse than bringing Pirlo out of retirement for six months on a free…

      • paul January 13, 2019 at 8:20 pm

Or coutinho or shaqiri or JJ Shelvey but sadly none of those players were available, all wanted the same wages as Neymar and it has been scientifically proven that none of them could have ever done a job for us.

        • East Stand January 13, 2019 at 9:23 pm

Don’t you mean Moutinho? Yes, 5m from Monaco. I’m sure his wages would have been the sticking point…

If the club had one ounce of commitment to being successful on the pitch then this would happen… Sell Trippier, Davies, Sissoko, Wanyama, Lamela, Nocluedo, Llorente, Janssen, Dier. Sign up Toby, Vertonghen, Eriksen to secure contracts with a market rate for wages to match the CL winners ticket prices you fleece out of the supporters. Take away the Captaincy from Lloris. Give it to Toby. Purchase two quality wingbacks. Keep Rose, Aurier, and KWP as cover. Get another decent CB. Loan out Foyth and keep Sanchez. Get two quality DM players. Keep Winks as cover.G et two world-class attacking midfielders that can transition the ball quickly and who want to play forward and not backwards and sideways to make the possession stats look good. • paul January 13, 2019 at 7:57 pm

Yes but we are still ‘fighting’ on four fronts. Three really because we have zero chance of winning the league but i guess finishing in the top four has become the fourth front.

Without a couple of hit the ground running epl experienced types this window i honestly fear a clean sweep of failure ahead that will completely end this ‘project’. Whether you like it or not manure are resurgent under the current set up and will be serious contenders for a top four place. If the racists solve their striker problems this window then i would say we are in trouble.

  • Nicktheyid January 13, 2019 at 7:45 pm

Same old story, lack of investment in the team is catching up with us, we seriously need to get ENIC out of this club, we will never win anything being owned by an investment company. I’m sick of being one of the top 15 richest clubs in the world and not acting like it. ENIC out, ENIC out ENIC out

  • Dan January 13, 2019 at 7:38 pm

And we slip slowly back to our natural level of 5-7 th , the inevitability of it is almost painful as over the last few years if investments in players would have been made we could have had something special. We likely will scrape 4th but the decline has started due to lack of investments as all teams left untouched have a window and ours is coming to an end due to a chairman that is a realtor

  • paul January 13, 2019 at 7:13 pm

I’m going to get my response in early before the avalanche of stats arrives to tell me that the match i watched was actually completely different from the match i watched.

Desire, experience, intent, will, mental fortitude, aspiration, striving, daring as well as quality of thinking and reading of a moment just can not be be statted. We too often come up short in all these departments against the best teams, because too many individual players in our team don’t possess enough of these attributes to be able to bring them to bear in any meaningful way when it counts.

You want better results then pay the best players you have what they deserve, nurture them and haver a plan to replace the less good players with better quality ones that you have thoroughly researched and are prepared to pay for.

    • Limerick AL. January 13, 2019 at 7:20 pm

Spot On Paul. It should be this straightforward but we are dealing with TOTAL CUNTS.

    • Paddio January 13, 2019 at 7:24 pm

Why would they need to change if you look at fan behaviour like with all the praise given to players like Sissoko and what a change around, that would be taken fans are happy wouldn’t it?

  • dilly January 13, 2019 at 7:12 pm

My predicted end of season table:
    1. Liverpool
    2. Citeh
    3. Chelkski
    4. Manure

    • Paddio January 13, 2019 at 7:12 pm

No we will be in the top 4

      • dilly January 13, 2019 at 7:14 pm

Paddio as I am usually wrong hopefully you are right!!

        • Paddio January 13, 2019 at 7:17 pm

          Ha ha,🤞🏽

        • East Stand January 13, 2019 at 7:19 pm

It’s strange how you never learn from being wrong so, so often.

HH said you were the eternal optimist, you top 4 prediction hardly bears that out…

        • SpursGoliath January 13, 2019 at 7:38 pm

Usually optimistic for Arsenal dilly – what’s happened? They’ve been dropped too

This United team haven’t put in a truly great performance since they brought in OGS – this was a great result, not performance. How long can the honeymoon last? I’m thinking Spurs just about hang onto 3rd place, the other three in the running are very up and down.

If Chelsea don’t sign a ‘ready to hit the ground running’ forward then I see them maybe dropping out for Arsenal or United. Anyway, that squad with their two best players injured (say Hazard and maybe Kante) – that wouldn’t be pretty.

          • East Stand January 13, 2019 at 8:13 pm

            Arsenal are sh*te…

            • SpursGoliath January 13, 2019 at 9:31 pm

They’ve still played a lot more good football than this United side this season

    • paul January 13, 2019 at 7:14 pm

Mine was the same with City in top spot and after today i think either one of these scenarios is most likely, especially if Cheatski sort out their striker issues this transfer window.

    • Is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? January 13, 2019 at 7:16 pm

Suddenly Pool at the top?….come on now.?? You were all argueing with me in the summer..tee hee

    • Marsinho January 13, 2019 at 7:16 pm

If levy remains perilous to the already mass of injuries taking toll to the team then quite possibly we mite miss out on top 4, in levy all things are possible…..in the negative sense that is.

  • Mospur January 13, 2019 at 7:00 pm

Mauricio Pochettino just said that that was the best performance he has seen from Tottenham since he took charge of the club.

    What??????

Poch only watched the 2nd half?

    • dilly January 13, 2019 at 7:06 pm

In fairness on the balance of play in the second had it not been for a mixture of great keeping and poor finishing we fully deserved a share of the spoils.

      • paul January 13, 2019 at 7:16 pm

Yes to deserving the draw but our best ever performance under Poch???

We ARE serial LOSERS RIPPING off the supporters with a project that’s destroying the club. 1 league cup in 20 years ENIC. Biggest prices in the world. Llorente our game changer. A manager who says we are not contenders when he’s 2nd in the division and says we are playing the best ever when we lose at ‘home’ which it aint cos our actual home is in driveways Theydon Bois. • Paddio January 13, 2019 at 6:57 pm

It’s a game we should have come away with more, Bit reminiscent of a game that we lost to Newcastle. But our finishing was poor, Eriksen isn’t the same player whilst having contract talks, injuries have plagued us in each area of the park at the same time recently. We miss dier perversely. The players look tired but this is more mental rather than games played for a fair amount of the team.
    But
Fulham next so we’ll smash them a new one next week.

    • paul January 13, 2019 at 6:59 pm

  • Gazza waking up at night screaming! January 13, 2019 at 6:55 pm

I personally would have hauled Trips off at half time and swapped him for Walker peters so that every one of them knew what the score was. He was swanning about like hes david beckham today and he cant even defend himself from a bad haircut let alone defend in the premier league. He is a prize nobhead.

    • Limerick AL. January 13, 2019 at 6:57 pm

He wants a better deal, he played well against a pile of shite in the WC, afterall.

      • Gazza waking up at night screaming! January 13, 2019 at 6:57 pm

He can get a better deal at Wigan

    • Ronan January 13, 2019 at 6:58 pm

Hugo had to pull his chestnuts out of the fire in the 2nd half to prevent an og. Probably a better save than any of de gea’s.

    • Eddie January 13, 2019 at 7:15 pm

      Not on the bench unfortunately

  • Is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? January 13, 2019 at 6:53 pm

Utd 7 points behind, level with Arse. They won’t lose till the end of the season I doubt, maybe 1. We got to go to Anfield, City and Chelsea. No squad. Kane wasted, no Son. Not the best.

  • Tappaspur January 13, 2019 at 6:51 pm

If we swapped keepers we would of stuffed them. Cant people see that.

    • Eddie January 13, 2019 at 6:52 pm

          • paul January 13, 2019 at 6:55 pm

          • Gazza waking up at night screaming! January 13, 2019 at 6:56 pm

De gea was not hte difference between the two teams today. Their desire was. And dare i say it – they played with more fluency than we did. They turned up and were resolute as we famously woke up once we fell behind. Chase chase chase to no avail.

            • SpursGoliath January 13, 2019 at 7:09 pm

They rode their luck, they are ‘in a good moment’ as every foreign manager in the league would have it, and they toughed it out.

Really, on the balance of chances and play, we coulda/shoulda edged the game – I see it as the opposite of the Chelsea performance. We were like Chelsea in this game – and we praised Chelsea in the mid week…so we shouldn’t totally destroy the team for this one.

Officially out of the title race/in the mix up for top four again. Ah well. Cups are now the best chance of glory this season…as we all secretly expected from this headfook of a season at Wembley.

  • JimmyGrievance January 13, 2019 at 6:50 pm

What about when we had the best RB and LB in the league ….. Trippier isn’t good enough nor is Davies.

Imagine what we could’ve done had we spent in few quid in the transfer windows. Poch really is a patsy…

    • Limerick AL. January 13, 2019 at 6:55 pm

A Patsy. He recently came out with some drivel about Levy, Yes Levy, asking him what would be best for the Team, Moving from Wembley. It sounded just like a Levy Soundbite to be honest. Now I know that Botch is the greatest in the Whole World but if he is going to be a Lapdog to Levy and Co he can do one.

  • paul January 13, 2019 at 6:50 pm

I’ve never been terribly worried about HK picking up a knock because i’ve loved us when we’ve played sonny up front with deli and pamela interchanging and tin tin just behind. Hk with a knock and Sonny off to Asia is v bad news.

  • Mikespurs January 13, 2019 at 6:49 pm

You cant put the ball anywhere near de gea. Hes too good. Lack of clinical finishing ended us. Liked Erickson in the deeper role. Trips cost us & could have been more. Lloris couple great saves but thought he overcomitted to his near post. But good shot to be fair. No son & hopefully kane isnt too injured on basically the last play of the game. That could be a real mess

    • paul January 13, 2019 at 6:52 pm

Far too good to put it anywhere near him. A couple of those would have gone past lesser keepers but not him.

  • Gazza waking up at night screaming! January 13, 2019 at 6:48 pm

im sure Dele will be livid. i do believe he has the mentality of a winner. The game literally passed us by today. Time seemed to be against us. To score just before half time is a real killer. It really scrambles your mind. Its brutal. I wont sleep much tonight. I am that aggrieved. Two steps back.

  • Eddie January 13, 2019 at 6:47 pm

It’s so frustrating watching Poch devoid of any emotion on the bench.OK he had nobody on the bench to effect a change to the game, but ffs get after the players, gee them up.
If Kane and Son are missing for a while now we are in serious trouble.

  • Ronan January 13, 2019 at 6:46 pm

Redknapp Jr shamelessly filling pogba’s ass with smoke. Why?

  • Gazza waking up at night screaming! January 13, 2019 at 6:43 pm

De Gea says ”We played a slightly different system but against a team like this it was needed. We prepared different, the tactics changed but to beat the top teams you have to adapt.”

Have we played a different system much?

    • Limerick AL. January 13, 2019 at 6:44 pm

      Whats Tactics ??????

      • Gazza waking up at night screaming! January 13, 2019 at 6:45 pm

Like drawing stuff on a chalk board and then clapping your hands innit

  • paul January 13, 2019 at 6:43 pm

~Second half schmarf, easy to look good giving it all when you’re 0-1 down, all we were doing was giving everything at that point to secure a draw. Why can’t we show that level of intent from the off so we’re giving it all to to take the lead? Ok we don’t need to do it against every team but against the big teams it’s not enough to just turn up and see how it goes ffs

  • Accy January 13, 2019 at 6:41 pm

2nd half we played very very well. De Gea saved ’em but our finishing wasn’t incredible. wasn’t poor, necessarily, just a lot very near to De Gea.

I’m not upset. Thought we played well – and enjoyed the game.

    • East Stand January 13, 2019 at 6:43 pm

I agree, you have to take some defeats on the chin and because of DeGea I’m prepared to do that.

However, the squad is looking very thin all of a sudden. I’m more concerned about that…

      • Accy January 13, 2019 at 6:45 pm

Sissoko injured – you think, oh dear. What do we do now?

        Harry injured aswell, you think…

      • Phillip avenue January 13, 2019 at 6:49 pm

We wouldn’t have to take defeats if the squad were properly prepared and rested. Accepting you’re going to lose will never win you a title.

  • SpursGoliath January 13, 2019 at 6:40 pm

Also – bad Lamela made a comeback today. How many second touches were a slide tackle just to keep possession after a ropey first touch?! Also played three absolute garbage tier forward passes in good positions.

So might as well have been at the Asian games – playing within yourself or what?

    • SpursGoliath January 13, 2019 at 6:43 pm

      ‘Son’

  • Gazza waking up at night screaming! January 13, 2019 at 6:40 pm

We got done today and the Utd players will be making a lot of noise. I hope our players realise just how much they lost. We were supposed to be at home making a point and once again the only point we could make was that we cant turn up and really show that we are great. There is no greatness about this team. That is down to the players being very tired and Potch not having many ideas but mostly because we are run like a thrifty business where success and glory are just things you say to sell shit to plastic Korean and American football fans. The only thing we have to look forward to is a temple of concrete, steel and glass that turns into a concert hall and sells beer quickly. Glory beer. How do you say that in Latin?

  • Is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? January 13, 2019 at 6:38 pm

We outplayed them….the GK saved em…this is what we say every time…we outplayed Chelsea in the Cup final ….but lost. Poch telling us we were better. We lost. What more can we do with owners who are property lizards? Nuffink.

  • SpursGoliath January 13, 2019 at 6:36 pm

Trippier is becoming a ‘luxury player’ though – wheeled out for five crosses and a few dead balls. To be fair he could have had a couple of assists today…but the other side of the equation is he’s a luxury player playing in our slightly lead footed rear guard.

  • Legoverlass January 13, 2019 at 6:34 pm

We are what we are and that is 2/3 top quality players short in the middle of the field and possibly two wingbacks. I hope Rose was injured as I can see no other reason for Davies. Trippier has no defensive abilities. Sissoko now out, Dembele gone, Dier recovering but crap anyway, Winks better in second half as he moved forward. Ali not impressed, floats around with little flicks but should have had at least two today. Kane has run himself into the ground. Llorente is our game changer eh? Eriksen only woke up around midway in the second half. Son already in Korea. Question… why are our coaches always sitting motionless on the bench. Why do they not jump up and down and show some f**king enthusiasm and energy. They perform like the team….

    • Gazza waking up at night screaming! January 13, 2019 at 6:36 pm

Agreed. They always seem to hide their on their arses

    • East Stand January 13, 2019 at 6:41 pm

We have needed an experienced quality central midfielder for well over year now, as Wanyama and Dembele are no longer fit for purpose.

Dier, Winks and Sissoko are our only options, that just isn’t good enough if you’re serious. Dier is a converted centre back, Sissoko a converted wide player and Winks is a bit too lightweight and inexperienced at the moment.

We need to spend some bloody money, poor Uncle Joe is only worth over 6bn, he obviously can’t afford it can he…

      • paul January 13, 2019 at 6:46 pm

It’s been mindnumbingly obvious for so long, we’ve got enough to beat most but against the best we constantly come up short and then that becomes us being bottlers blah blah blah,

  • SpursGoliath January 13, 2019 at 6:34 pm

The only positive is the level of performance today would be enough to beat 11 or 12 teams in the league.

Mainly some uninspired finishing to blame here – along with United having their tails up and defending with intensity.

  • Gazza waking up at night screaming! January 13, 2019 at 6:33 pm

    ENIC OUT

  • paul January 13, 2019 at 6:33 pm

You want a team that can take it over the line you need leaders with character and experience and you need quality – that costs money.

    • Gazza waking up at night screaming! January 13, 2019 at 6:34 pm

bUT we are selling our players with experience before they are done. hence Toby is off and looks liek Jan too. Experience to Enic is the devil. It means high wages with no sell on. Thats what we have.

  • Limerick AL. January 13, 2019 at 6:32 pm

WE lost 2 at ‘Home’ on the Trot. Step forward Botch and claim we must move to the New Place Soon. Levyspeak.

  • Lilywhite without the II January 13, 2019 at 6:31 pm

We won’t sell low-rent now….that will be our Jan signing!!

  • Gazza waking up at night screaming! January 13, 2019 at 6:31 pm

When will people realise that this team has so much but cant cross the line when they are exhuasted. All of this is down to ENIC. No new signings – and all of this in the blatant lying about the stadium. Fraud, blatant fraud. Who is going to lead the team up front now? Shall we bring that dutch bloke back? Him and Llorente in the league and just Llorente in the champions league. Fuck all of it.

  • Lilywhite without the II January 13, 2019 at 6:30 pm

Why do we do this to ourselves I wonder…Levy isn’t bothered…we hope and pray but really we are are not at the level required…even when United are on a come back they were not that good…

If Levy charged the going rate for a season ticket then fair enough but he charges the highest in Europe…

    • Gazza waking up at night screaming! January 13, 2019 at 6:31 pm

      • Is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? January 13, 2019 at 6:31 pm

The smoke is the Prem being compiled of 14 teams that are toss and the rest we can’t beat.

      • East Stand January 13, 2019 at 6:33 pm

Injuries happen and all teams have key players but it’s the paper thin cover we have and the lack of midfield options.

It’s chronic, but then again if you have owners that would much rather prefer it that you finished a distant 4th than ever entertain the notion that we could win the league, what do you expect?

        • Is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? January 13, 2019 at 6:34 pm

Yes, this is exactly what I expect. Lose the big ones….beat Huddersfield 6 nil….we are Arsenal.

  • paul January 13, 2019 at 6:27 pm

We still can not hack the pressure of going out, taking the initiative and showing the necessary to win it against the big teams when it counts. We don’t have enough leaders or enough quality, a bad combination, especially in the middle of the park.

  • Is Gascoigne gonna have a crack? January 13, 2019 at 6:26 pm

Llorente was our option to change a game. How much are tickets in the new place?? All the best with that…..

We played well enough today, if we stunk the place out then I’d be moaning too.

At least it further ruins Woolwich’s season and makes OGS look like the messiah…

Don’t be fooled by we should have, could have, played better or any of the we had more chances nonsense etc. We didn’t show enough when it counted ie 0-0, we didnt try to win it from the off, we only cared and got after it when we we went 0-1 down and that’s when it’s easy to show resolve

Are Utd auditioning for Potch more than Potch auditioning for Utd. What a fucking humiliation to be honest. This was not bad luck. We did not turn up for the big game. I am going to punch a wall.

I would have settled for a Draw. Same as it ever was. Maybe Botch will come out and say he has no interest in other clubs.
