This little lot if true, is hilarious, sensational and pretty much beyond parody.
This from a source that I think if I’m right, I haven’t spoken to in maybe 3 years, was in touch earlier today. It was just like picking up with someone I hadn’t spoken to in …maybe 3 years.
So what is it?! It’s specifically in relation to the still of Pochettino, at Hotspur Way.
The tale is this.
The security still is kosher. That was Poch and there was a meeting of some description, between the Saints boss and someone at Hotspur Way.
The meeting took place at Hotspur Way for one of two reasons (my guy isn’t sure which).
Either because Spurs had permission to talk with the Saints’ boss and they demanded absolute confidentiality …or Spurs did not have permission to talk and they thought that they could get Poch in and out securely.
Bottom line is, they failed. The bag that had the cat in, is now a completely feline free environment.
The suggestion is, that Saints have gone ballistic. It is highly likely that at least one employee at our training facility may have to get creative when they next draft up their CV.
THFC have already had to issue one denial in relation to approaching a new manager. If what I’ve shared here is on the money, then a second could well be in the offing.
The excellent @e_spurs broke a pretty much identical tale 24hrs ago. Their story has our illustrious chairman meeting with Poch for an hour, demanding the immediate suspension of the 4 security staff involved and Saints weighing up their options in respect of a possible legal action.
I find it beyond impossible to believe that THFC would tap up an under contract manager of another football club. Levy & Co have no form for this sort of behaviour. At all.
