Serious Allegations Made Club Misleading Fans

By The Boy -

Oh dear.

Ah, look I cannot lie, I’m revelling in this. I’ve been telling you for years that the whole thing is a sham and now, bit by bit, it’s spilling into the public domain and it can’t be coherently argued with.

However this even took me by surprise.

Looking at this established account, it’s clearly operated by a genuine fan, and the content elevates it from the ‘some random on Twitter’ accusations.

When initially challenged that the grand opening could happen sooner, it was reiterated the delay was going to be substantial.

It is worth framing this allegation with what happened yesterday.

Building.co.uk ran a piece which described the chaos and the possibility of Mace being severely punished for the delays.

That article was pulled by the Building website.

Later that morning, the Evening Standard ran a piece aggregating this news.

That too was pulled.

Fortunately, I was able to locate a cached version which you can view here.

It would appear that there is a dispute raging within the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium™ and one that either MACE or ENIC (or both) don’t wish to see debated in public.

I take a view is that there are ‘bits’ of truth in all of this, and the continued bad communication from the club reflects the size of the mess.

Mace from a cursory look online appears to have a good industry reputation.

Don’t be surprised if the stadium opens – but with an initially limited capacity.
