Kevin Wimmer’s legacy at Tottenham Hotspur is that he was Son Heung-Min’s best friend.
That tells you a lot about the time that the Austrian defender spent on the pitch. Not good enough as to leave fans with fond memories, but not so bad that he is remembered for the wrong reasons.
Wimmer is currently playing for Belgian side Royal Excel Mouscron, on loan from Stoke City. Despite leaving Spurs over two years ago, him and Sonny are still good pals.
And one thing you can rely on your friends to do is take the pi** out of you.

The babyface Son set himself up for ridicule with this Instagram post seemingly advertising a Gillette Skinguard Razor. Wimmer took the open goal with more skill than he showed in two seasons at Spurs.
I have never seen a single hair on Son’s chin, so this doesn’t seem to be the smartest of promotional partnerships for either party involved.
Having said that, as a babyface who was brought a razor as a joke for his 18th birthday, I do also have some sympathy with Sonny on this one.

It all started when snow flakes started saying only fools and horses should be censured. I had to jump in.

My daughter and teenage grandson couldn’t believe it😂😂😂😂 leave them programs alone. If they vex you don’t watch them. My lady is from Bangladesh. We laughed so much when we watched it again and had a good old discussion about it. She reckons the Asians had it worse than us. I reckon thats only because they didn’t stick up for them selves
Lets face it, in an instagram world, not needing a product doesn’t mean you cant claim you use it. Lets face it, if Gillete makes your chin that smooth I may be in.
I felt for Wimmer, I felt he could have been a real good defender at one point…then suddenly he simply fell apart and never got the chances.
