Tottenham to compete with Arsenal and Man United for €60m-rated playmaker

Tottenham are keen on acquiring the services of Arsenal and Manchester United target Dani Olmo.

Dani Olmo’s future has become the talk of the town lately. The Spanish international could be on the move in the upcoming transfer window and there is no shortage of interest in his services.

According to SPORT via SportWitness, Tottenham are keen on his signature but they have to compete with Arsenal and Manchester United to sign him.

Ange Postecoglou seeks major changes to his squad before the start of next season. He wants players who can help better implement his style of play and Spurs are expected to back the Australian manager by giving him the resources needed. Olmo is one of the targets and the Spanish attacking midfielder is someone Spurs feel could help them take the next step.

The former Barcelona youth product has been a consistent performer for RB Leipzig over the years and his displays haven’t gone unnoticed. While his contract with the German club runs until the summer of 2027, interested clubs could look to trigger the €60 million release clause in his contract.

Tottenham are one of the clubs in the mix and they have already established contact to sign him. Nothing is concrete yet but with the release clause active until July, Spurs have a lot of time on their hands.

They will face stiff competition from Arsenal and Manchester United. The Gunners are looking to further bolster their ranks as they look to fight for all major titles and they feel the Spanish attacking sensation could help their cause. Arsenal have lacked depth in the wide areas and in the central attacking midfield role. Olmo would be the ideal fit for them.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are looking to rebuild the side under Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Olmo is one of their targets. The Spaniard will add goals and creativity to their squad and his versatility will be an added boost. Olmo is capable of operating in the number ten role as well as a winger.
