Kane tops the list of best strikers in the Premier League according to Championship ace

By Bruce Grove -

Troy Deeney rates Harry Kane as the best striker in the Premier League, the Watford man has revealed to Talksport.

Kane is one of the most lethal strikers in the world and he has constantly proven that with his performances at local and international level.

The Englishman is arguably the best in the Premier League as well and he has started this season with another edge to his game.

He now consistently provides assists for his teammates to score the goals that their team needs.

He has scored five times already and provided eight assists for the club in all competitions.

Seven of his assists have been to his attacking partner, Son Heung-min who has also been in great form.

Deeney named his top five strikers in the Premier League and Kane topped the list.

The Englishman was named ahead of the likes of Sergio Aguero, Roberto Firmino and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who didn’t even make the cut.

In choosing Kane he said: ‘I think he’s the best No 9 that’s about in the Premier League at the moment, you could argue in world football.

‘Lewandowski and Benzema would probably give him a run for his money but (from the) out and out No 9s he’s the best in the Premier League for me. And he’s adding assists to his game now.’

He would score twice as many at Bayern, their linking play is sooo good. The service he would get would be amazing. Lewandowski would score half as many for the opposite reason.

Kane is like a cross between Lewandowski and De Bruyne these days. I wouldn’t swap him for anyone, he’s totally unique.

Kane is a better footballer than any other EPL striker, he scores, links play and has turned into an assist king. We all remember the days when he just shot every time he had the ball, so his progression has been pleasing to see. You can’t really compare Lewandowski and Kane, but in my opinion if Kane was at Bayern he would score just as many, but would Lewandowski score the same Kane has for us? Not sure. Both are top draw and we are fortunate to have him.
