Not wishing to be a doomster gloomster sort sadly trophies will only arrive when we have a sufficient quality squad of players capable for taking the team to the next level?

I bet he’s jealous of our Training Ground & stadium too.
Even with all the trophies he’s won over the years.
For rich men like him, status has to be seen.
Levy has stuck it to him.
Hopefully trophies will follow for us

Doubt government will allow him to rebuild stadium.
…..& I thought the Arsenal mp [fans] made us wait many years more than the should have.
Chelsea……….. will wait

Totally agree on both points.

We’re not half as bad as some fans think.
League cups & FA Cups are not gonna pay for that kinda outlay

They must be paying Willian ridiculous wages, more than is being reported.

I’m sure that’s the only reason Aubamayang signed on again.
He’ll regret that decision.

Let’s hope he’s mellowed in his old age.

Spurs and Chelsea have had a bitter rivalry on and off the pitch.

Feelings escalated on the pitch, resulting in the Battle of the Bridge in 2016 when several players from both sides clashed.

Abramovich was close to buying Spurs before he took over at the Blues.

He was thought to have picked Chelsea only when they qualified for the Champions League in the 2002/03 season under Claudio Ranieri.”

Mind you having seen Willian play last night talented player he is, blowing hot and cold IMO it’s a bullet well dodged by us as he had minimal impact throughout until he was subbed.
£75m Peppe puts some of our expensive flops into perspective!

Presumably this running vendetta emanates from Levy’s decision to sell Modric to RM rather than Chelsea and resultant Willian “sting”?

ROMAN ABRAMOVICH refused to sell any of his Chelsea stars to rivals Tottenham – and blocked Carlton Cole’s switch.
The former Blues striker revealed the Russian oligarch – who bought the West Londoners in 2003 – would not sanction any deal with Spurs.
The only Chelsea player to join Spurs during RA era was Chelsea’s reserve keeper Carlo Cuddicini who was allowed to leave on a free transfer in 2009.

Robertson has probably scored more goals for Liverpool than Winks who lulled us into a false sense of security by scoring on his debut against West Ham at the Lane!

which begs the question why do the media still link us with Chelsea players??

Given that the Chelsea Board refuse to do biz with Spurs it’s best to simply dismiss links with any Chelsea players!

I’m wondering if it’s a ploy from Jose to get Lampard to start him later tonight coz we see a weakness in him?

Have you heard the latest on us being interested in the boy that cried wolf Rüdiger from Chelsea?
The CB that Chelsea don’t seem to want but who may be their best CB,
…….but they won’t let us have him, will they???

It’s Chelsea tomorrow night which given their attacking potency does not fill me with enormous optimism! With Jose having already written off our chances ahead of this encounter I admire his psychological mind games! Hopefully selected looking forward to seeing our new full back defend solidly and attack with menace!

Regarding the Newcastle draw whilst I can understand his annoyance for walking down the tunnel in a huff, IMO sportsmanship dictated that he greeted Steve Bruce at the end.
Paying the price for our profligacy miss of the match has to be
Dier’s misdirected header. Dear oh dear!

Constantly linked with one striker after another, simply putting us all out of our misery for securing a back up striker for Kane it’s good news the transfer window ends on 5 Oct. Welcome under the radar desperation stakes Troy Deeney who I knew we would get in the end!, or Benteke or Josh King or that fearsome Diego “nasty” Costa et al. Tighten your seat belts for a bumpy ride!

Living in the Midlands for over 45 year, cajoled by their talisman Captain Jack “I nearly joined Spurs” Grealish, nice to see Aston Villa make a positive start to the season unlike sinking Fulham who already look destined for the drop!

I look forward to seeing our attacking LB Sergio score goals just like that Robertson goal for Liverpool
