Our new home – that looks like a lavatory bowl – won’t be fully open on time.
The first ‘event’ – get used to that word by the way pilgrims – is in just 3 week’s time.
Does this look vaguely ready to you?
If it does, then you’ve so little understanding in these matters that you really shouldn’t submit daft remarks.
Forget the grass, that’s obviously being bartered over/attended to elsewhere.
Just take a moment out of your deluded sad-sack lives and tell me how this is going to be ready to rock in a few weeks.
You can’t.

The inside look like an airport terminal.
‘Baggage handling?’
‘Sorry sir, I don’t have Moussa Sissoko’s telephone number.’

‘What can I deep fry for you, madam?’

This is from a fan run the USA on Reddit.
Yeah I grew up in Texas and am a Cowboys fan and when they built their new stadium they opened it up at least 6 months before the season started for concerts and all sorts of things to make sure it was running properly and to work out the kinks. Hell I even saw a Chelsea match there. It takes time for the stadium workers to get a feel for the new place and get the logistics in place. Not to mention it will take time for the players to get settled as well. Bad management of a new stadium seems to go hand in hand with the window we’re having.
Ouch.
Or maybe YOU know better.
