ITK Confirmed In Under 24hrs

Toby’s going nowhere.

He’s staying at Spurs, boom boom.

Aderweireld said: “With this team, and with the people working for it, we will get a trophy – 100 per cent,” said Alderweireld.

If it is not this season, then it will be the one after. We will do everything we can to make it happen this season.”

“Sometimes it is all about details. Last season we didn’t win the League but we kept going. This season we already have 71 points – one more than we got in the whole of last season.

“Even with the disappointment of last season we have kept fighting, and this season we are in an even better position. Regardless of what happens during the rest of this season, we have to keep improving and get better for next season as well.

“The desire to achieve something and to get better, as a young group, is there. We want to play better than we did last season. We want to become better. It says a lot about the mental strength of the team.”

Thank you very much again, Glad.

I’d rather sell Alli than Toby. Not that anyone is going anywhere whilst Potch is at the club of course but just saying.

You must be weeping in a corner that Toby isn’t going anywhere.
Don’t worry. There will be many more rumors linking our players to other clubs.

I was at the spot of both the latest Paris and London attacks a week or so before on both occasions, fuck me………please don’t blame nationalists for Islamic terror. 1400 years of violence…..quick, let’s blame the Western nationalists

  • East Stand April 20, 2017 at 11:40 pm

Basically ISIS want the FN to get into power and any other alt or far right groups in Europe. The more division and blame put on the wider Muslim population the more radicalisation and resentment they hope there will be.

A vote for the Populists is a vote for ISIS without people even realising it.

    • Harry Hotspur April 21, 2017 at 12:01 am

      This is rhubarb.

ISIS are fucking lunatics who haven’t had a period of enlightenment. They want to rape, decapitate and inflict their lunacy on everyone they meet.

Their thirst for power, blood, greed etc are nothing to do with religion, this is just an excuse. A reason to convert and add further to the fanatic following . This is completely the opposite to the religious teachings of Islam, who’s followers a peaceful, law abiding people. Can’t stand people such as Trump and so many others, who call themselves Christians, yet has so many values which completely contradict this.

              • Spurstacus 💋 April 21, 2017 at 1:04 am

Islam as the religion of peace is a phallacy. Many millions of Muslims may well be peace loving; just like many Atheists are, but Islam is not a peaceful religion.

When Islam preaches peace, it’s peace to fellow Muslims, not infidels like you and me.

                • Spurstacus 💋 April 21, 2017 at 1:09 am

The idea that Islam is a peaceful religion is one perpetrated by the Liberal elite. The intention is to soften it up, emasculate it, and when, like mainstream Christianity it’s utterly impotent, dominate it.

                  • MysteriousStranger April 21, 2017 at 1:50 am

                    Who are the “Liberal elite”?

        Stalin religious?

        • Aussie in Switzerland April 21, 2017 at 6:21 am

Yes, Hitler was religious…..And the teachings of the church blamed Jesus’ death on Jews and did not stop until after the war. The Vatican was the first place to have a treaty with Hitler, German priests celebrated Hitler’s birthday from the pulpit. Nazi soldiers had “God on our side” written in their belts……Stalin and communism have many similarities to religion…..

I agree that they’re obviously lunatics but it’s common knowledge that they want to radicalise the moderate Muslim populous and drive a wedge between them and everyone else.

They want a wider religious war across the world, this is part of their lunatic plan.

    • Spurstacus 💋 April 21, 2017 at 12:57 am

Easty, you’ve said some things on here and made some statements, but this takes the biscuit. ISIS hate anything and everything non-muslim. It doesn’t matter if you are a peaceful loon dressed in orange and singing to Hari Krishna, a non-religious Jewess paying a fortune for kosher chicken on Golders Green Rd, a chain smoking cab driver called Mo, or a paid up member of a far right gang; to them, we are all the same.

I have no problem accepting that these are lone wolf attacks perpetrated by unhinged / mentally ill thugs. These men have murderous intentions and Islam gives them the excuse and justification they need to execute those intentions.

Obviously not all Muslims have murderous intentions, but not all Muslims follow Islam. Just like not all Jews are Observant, and not all Catholics believe in God.

The guys waging a holy war are truly Muslim and following Islam. They do what they do out of a deep conviction that they are doing God’s work. People like Sadiq Khan (other nominal believers are available) are no more Muslim than I am. A nominal Muslim is no Muslim at all. Not everyone in church on Sunday is a Christian.

There is a war going on, and at the moment it’s between Liberalism and Islam. Liberalism will win. Islam, like Christianity (for example) will be emasculated and then sidelined. Liberalism will tolerate anything that’s impotent.

I told a (probably) paradoxical view in that I think the Jihadis have a right to wage their holy war; their religion obliges them to, but that whoever they are fighting (the Liberal West in this instance) has the same rights and obligations to fight back.

Something has to give, and it will be Islam.

      • MysteriousStranger April 21, 2017 at 1:42 am

How did you become such an authority on Islam? My Aunt and Uncle are pretty devout, pray five times a day, only eat Halal meat, don’t drink alcohol, but they are not radical. They abhor ISIS. Neither do they preach about the evils of Christianity for example, by selecting isolated controversial texts written many hundreds of years ago and offering it as proof of this.

Yet many Christians are quite happy denouncing Islam and stirring shit up. Weird, that. Well spiritual.

        • Spurstacus 💋 April 21, 2017 at 2:00 am

Many religious people pick and choose which parts of their religion they find acceptable and are willing to follow; the church and the pulpit are full of these people. So what?

What’s the point of a religious text, which is supposed to frame the way a believer lives, if you ignore the bits you don’t like or find too difficult to adhere to? Whether Islam or Christianity.

How did you become an expert on Christianity? What are the evils of Christianity you mention, and the controversial texts? What shit is being stirred up, and by whom?

          • MysteriousStranger April 21, 2017 at 6:06 am

I studied the Bible as a youth when I attended Church Services and Sunday School regularly. Doesn’t necessarily make me an expert, but I’m certainly not ignorant to some of the contents contained within it.

There are many texts which endorse genocide to non believers (commanding the killing of every man, woman and child, and every animal in the town), texts that mock the disabled, criticise homosexuality, display acceptance of slaves and slavery etc. contained within the Bible. I wouldn’t call those teachings.

Just as there are similarly unsavoury scriptures in other religious books.

I have a close relative who is a devout Christian. Some of his views are shocking and I’ve challenged him for having them. From his refusal to accept gay marriage (because “The Good Book” says it’s wrong of course), to his reluctance to accept interracial procreating relationships (diluting the gene pool!). Naturally not a shock to learn he was a committed Brexiteer, fearful of all these dark skinned people invading our country, “us losing our identity” and the like – never mind that his own father, and his wife’s father, were immigrants themselves, albeit that they were the right shade of immigrant for his palate.

Frankly if anyone is hanging off each and every word in any of these books that were written in the dim and distant past they need their heads testing IMO.

The world has evolved and so have some people, surprisingly. Some people want to stay in the dark ages and I’m in no doubt they’ll happily live by each and every word of a book written some 1500 or 2000 odd years ago or whatever, whichever book’s “teachings” they follow.

People should be able to look at something written at a time of greater ignorance with skepticism, and have the common sense to extract the better moral teachings from them to adopt in their lives, whilst dismissing the nonsense.

The shit being stirred up, was in reference to people persistently generalising about, or demonising followers of Islam/Islam itself due to the actions of a select few.

            • Real Fan? April 21, 2017 at 8:42 am

I agree with all of this.

              • East Stand April 21, 2017 at 10:25 am

Anyone seriously suggesting that by being a Muslim automatically makes you a terrorist or a terrorist sympathiser needs to look at the facts and stop cherry picking things to support their argument.

There are billions of Muslims around the world, Jihadists and those sympathetic must make up (at a guess) under 1% of them.

The amount of attacks that take place are insignificant in number compared to the Muslim population but significant in their impact globally.

As I said earlier, most people that die at the hands of the likes of Daesh are generally Muslims anyway. therefore how can you blame all Muslims for this stuff? It makes no logical sense…

                • Real Fan? April 21, 2017 at 10:55 am

Spot on too, Easty. I have a client, a lady, who is an utterly devout Muslim. She denounces everything Daesh stands for and says their version of Islam is the perversion, not the other way round. She has studied the Koran extensively. The demonisation of Islam serves Isis’s purposes perfectly.

This is unfai, sorry. To be a religious and pious Muslim is not to engage In war – at least not more than the terror of the New or Old Testaments – All I get from this is your irrational fear and hatred of the Unknown. Have you ever visited a Musilm country? just asking for a friend like.
