I’m not sure if you can class this as investigative journalism, but I’ve deduced that Jose Mourinho and some of his coaching staff may be sleeping at Hotspur Way.
This report from The Mirror didn’t make the dots too difficult to join. The Portuguese was pictured out walking close to Tottenham’s training ground along with goalkeeping coach Nuno Santos and tactical analyst Ricardo Formosinho. All three are thought to be in quarantine together with Mourinho having temporarily moved out of his Belgravia family home for the COVID-19 lockdown.
Mourinho and his team are going in to work daily to run fitness sessions via video streaming, but they could be bunking at the site’s accommodation facilities as well. The Lodge may be the safest place for them if they insist on living and working together.
Jose has already been hammered once for breaking social distancing guidelines and wouldn’t be stupid enough to do it again, so the chances are the trio weren’t wondering far from base when they were snapped going for a stroll on Sunday.
