Happy Birthday: Azza Blud’s Best Spurs’ Bits [video]

By Joe Fish -

Aaron Lennon is 33 today. Only 33? Wow.

The winger feels as though he has been around forever, and that’s because he has. It was 15 years ago that he started a Spurs career which saw him amass 364 appearances, 30 goals, 77 assists and one League Cup trophy.

So Happy Birthday ‘Azza! Here are three of your best moments to celebrate:

I firstly remember David Bentley’s goal from this night, and then a career-best Jermaine Jenas performance. But Lennon had the last laugh.

Lennon wasn’t a natural finisher but here he cut inside the best left-back in the world and curled past Petr Cech with aplomb to end our 16-year wait to beat Chelsea. A shoutout to that majestic Robbie Keane skill as well.

The night that ‘Azza left AC Milan in his wake in the Champions League.
