Since the appointment of new manager Ange Postecoglou last summer, Tottenham Hotspur have undergone a notable transformation.
Not only has there been instant improvements on the pitch as evident by their performances this season, there has also been a positive change in the mood at the club.
Ange managed to connect the club and the players with the fans, creating a special bond between them as well as among the players.
The current bond in the squad is one of the best since Mauricio Pochettino’s time, effects of which is visible on the pitch.
They have signed multiple players over the last two transfer window, who have a strong personality. One of them is goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.
During a recent interview, he was asked which player he has developed a strong bond with in his brief time at the club.
The Italian goalkeeper singled out Micky van de Ven as the player he’s growing closest to. He praised the Dutchman’s friendly demeanour, referring to him as a “good lad” and “very good guy.”

“I have a good bond with Micky. He’s a good lad, a very good guy. I try to speak with him and to spend a lot of time together.”
