The Ghost is a touching, true story of an eight year old boy searching for his father and ultimately finding himself.

The story is adapted from the critically acclaimed book The Ghost of White Hart Lane: In Search of My Father The Football Legend, written by Rob White and Julie Welch. After reading the book, like all good stories, it stayed with me. I thought it only right that it be shared with a much wider audience.

Any Spurs fan will remember the gifted young Spurs player John White, struck by down by lightning, but I wanted to remind them what John achieved not how he died. He was a tremendously talented player, who won the double, in an era when Spurs were the best they have ever been.

The book is about John White, but our film is seen through his son’s eyes, an eight year old Rob making it even more potent. Imagine you don’t know who your father is- you never met him and then one day you discover a box in the attic and find he literally was ‘Roy of the Rovers’ type figure who won the FA Cup.

Now that’s a story worth putting up on the silver screen.

In the coming weeks we’ll have a series of exciting announcements including an opportunity to be a part of the film.

As a supporter you’ll be one of the first to know so stay tuned!
