Michael Brown told BBC 5 Live that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has been house hunting in Alderly Edge, an upscale Manchester suburb.
Now, Brown to me was a no good character whilst at Tottenham. There was a snide aurora about him and if he is remembered for anything it was his dirty tackling.
I’d go as far to say that I wouldn’t be stunned to find out that he and Tim Sherwood were close pals.
Malicious throwaway line from an ex-player that Spurs the club and Spurs the fan base DEFINITELY do not hold any treasured memories of, or a nugget of ITK?
I’m a Richard, too, incidentally!
Spot on mate. Glory ain’t far a way.
I don’t remember seeing your name before – welcome to the website!
I agree I don’t see them giving him the job til they see how he reacts when the shit hits the fan. It’s the balague bit that just keeps nagging away. At the end of the day if he goes he goes, and if he does so it will be because he didn’t get backed
I do, MIT!
Thanks to some activism of which I proudly led a bloody trail in, the lad was taken in by the club and they ‘decided’ to not ban him but talk to him.
I last left it with his father getting him reinstated at his place of work.
The damage done was undone, but perhaps next time ENIC decide to eject a fan and tell a national newspaper a banning order will be issued, they will instead stop and think.
Fream = dream in the MiT New World dictionary.
My thoughts are that we are only on one road up, we have got this far by spending nothing . Where will we be with a new stadium a new owner not so away, I’m constantly erect . I love this club we are on the move . Wait for next year and we will explode , Harry keep the faith I have for 50 years my friend or my yidster
Michael brown, isn’t he the one who played a part as a morlock in the 2002 version of the time machine?
Michael Brown has his own aurora?
I would question whether Man U would formally offer Poch a position when he has already stated that he is to finish the project with Spurs. It only reflects negatively on United to be turned down on what is otherwise regarded as a fream position.
They will not be keen to alter that perception.
Thus, b.s.
Greetings, H.
Do you have any word on whatever became of the meeting between Spurs board and the young man too hastily accused of an act of racist intent ?
It’s Bull shite
Poch never claimed that he wanted to stay at Saints is oiur only saving grace…I wouldn’t be shocked if Poch leaves, I said in the summer that once Jose was gone, Poch was their new manager. Personally I don’t think anything is arranged yet, and Ole wont get the job until he starts to lose and turns it around.
That surprises me. I remember him gliding past brown like he wasn’t there in that 2004 game at the lane. One of the slowest players I’ve ever seen in spurs colours.
Patrick viera once said that Michael Brown was the player he hated playing against the most.
He was not house hunting, he was castle hunting. With specific criteria
1. it has to come with a minimum of 2 turrets 1 for snow white and the other I believe, (although this is only a guess) is for rapunzel. No one has seen or heard from her in a while.
2. a very large moat for his crocodiles
3. very large enclosed garden, so the dragon has plenty of room
4. 500m of heavy duty chain, for obvious reasons we cannot have dragons roaming freely around Manchester
5. Staff to include 7 little people, (shovel and picks to be supplied) must be able to sing catchy little songs
6. Plenty of storage for such things as pumpkins, mice and glass slippers.
Bored Now!!!!
PS keep dreaming United
As if Poch is up there house hunting and bumps into Brown… the likelihood is Poch’s agent would do this, and United would do it for them. There is a reason Jose and co stay at the Lowry, its because most players/managers don’t buy/rent until they are in. So this story is an ex pro trying to be relevant.
Seen Michael Brown last year sampling the nefarious delights of La Sala, Puerta Banus, amongst a gamut of Ex-pros, inc. Steven Carr, and Paul Parker. It was like a ‘Small man syndrome’ sufferers convention. I’m a scumbag chancer so I had reason to be there, but I would suggest that apart from chucking in a few quid to help Bentley live the dream, he’s not got much else on his CV post football.
Ut then 5 live also have a reporter named Ian Dennis who they claimed on the radio on Sunday afternoon was a clued up reporter. Claims that ole has been offered the job?? Wouldn’t like to hazard a guess, but the bit that concerns me is poch did to Southampton, and also balague opening his mouth ever other week, almost as if paving the way
Somehow I’d managed to erase all memories of Michael Brown from my mind. Now you’ve gone and made me remember him…thanks…thanks very much! 😡
Michael WHO!!!!
Oh that great player (HahHa) from Port Vale!!!
I’m and sure he must be a close confidant of Poch
I think the brown stuff is coming out of his mouth.
COYS
As if he has time. And surely the club has its own way of dealing with properties for its players etc. Wouldn’t you just have a look online? Ridiculous
