‘By Paul Jiggins, Levy Bottled It Again!’

By The Boy -

It’s a welcome return to Harry Hotspur for Sun hack Paul Jiggins.

I must confess, I was facing some queue in the barbers earlier today but the Kosovan fella I see is worth the wait.

It’s quite splendid the way he does it right down to the wood and delicately around the old lug holes, it really a sight to behold, and I get to take it home!

So the back page of The Sun and the Jiggster has quotes from Liverpool’s Georginio Wijnaldum that are as unflattering as they are unsurprising.

The player held negotiations at Poch’s home.

“After the meeting I told my agent, ‘I’m going to join Spurs”

The Dutch ace added, “I saw Spurs as a very good fit for me, but we were unable to agree financial terms with them.”

The problem with the 25 year old is encompassed in the opening lines of this very sentence.

If Levy wanted to buy Georginio at the ‘right’ price, then he ought to have bought him before Newcastle did.

Liverpool have paid a reported £25million, but this as we all know – will not have been up front – there will have been a deposit payment and then terms dependent upon triggering various add-ons.

What is interesting about this very tangible piece of evidence supplied by Jiggins, By Jiggins! is that Poch doesn’t have an allergy to players over the age of 22.

It’s just that Levy has an allergy paying for them.
