Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg sent the referee flying as they two came together mid-game.
During yesterday’s friendly match between Denmark and Switzerland, a bizarre incident occurred involving Hojbjerg.
The Danish midfielder, while receiving the pass, ended up barging into the referee who came in between, shoving him into the ground.
Referee Allard Lindhout was blocking his path to the ball and the midfielder ended up sending him flying.
The 28-year-old was not booked for his action, and play continued after the referee got back on his feet.
Hojbjerg played for 84 minutes in the game, which ended in a goalless draw.
