Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison is going through a rough patch in his career.
The Brazilian international has struggled in the Premier League scoring just three goals in 37 league appearances for the London club.
Spurs were hoping that he could replace Harry Kane after the England international moved to Bayern Munich earlier this summer.
However, Richarlison has struggled to find the back of the net consistently and it seems that he is struggling at the international level as well. The 26-year-old striker failed to get on the score sheet for Brazil against Bolivia despite the fact that his country secured a 5-1 win.

Richarlison had a glorious opportunity to get on the score sheet, but he drew a blank and his miss was criticised on social media. The player is clearly under a lot of pressure and it remains to be seen whether he can bounce back strongly.
Tottenham signed him in a deal worth around £60 million from Everton last summer, but he has not been able to live up to the expectations. The striker was spotted crying on the bench after he was substituted in the 71st minute.

There is no doubt that the Brazilian international has the quality to be a reliable striker for club and country, but he needs to regain his sharpness and confidence soon.
Spurs need him to score goals on a consistent basis after the departure of Kane. If he continues to misfire, they might need to dip into the transfer market for a new striker.
