Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso is attracting interest from MLS side Charlotte FC.
That is according to the latest report from Daily Mail who claim that the American club have made enquiry about the Argentine as well as Newcastle’s Miguel Almiron as they look to bolster their squad.
Lo Celso has been informed that he is not part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans for the upcoming season and is free to find a new club to leave.
There has been considerable interest from La Liga from him over the last couple of transfer windows, in particular from his former club Real Betis, who continue to be linked with him.
There is also reported interest from Premier League side Aston Villa, with manager Unai Emery keen on reuniting with Lo Celso.
Lo Celso has had a tough time at Spurs since joining from Betis. He has failed to make his mark at the club, mostly due to injuries.
In 108 games for Spurs, he has scored 10 and assisted 8 across all competitions.
With the transfer deadline approaching fast, both the club and the player will hope for a deal to be agreed.
