Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is strongly linked with a move away from the club this summer.
The Danish international has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter under manager Ange Postecoglou, falling down the pecking order behind the likes of Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr.
Hojbjerg’s role at Spurs has been significantly reduced, with the midfielder making 36 Premier League appearances this season, 28 of which were from the bench.
Several clubs have expressed interest in Hojbjerg, including Juventus, Napoli, Fenerbahce, and Atletico Madrid.
However, according to the latest reports from Tipsbladet, any move away from Tottenham is expected to happen after the Euros.
The report claims that both Tottenham and Hojbjerg are set to go their separate ways.
The club has reportedly signalled to the market that they are open to a deal, making it clear to potential suitors that Hojbjerg is available.
Hojbjerg joined Spurs from Southampton in the summer of 2020 and quickly established himself as a consistent performer in the midfield.
He proved to be an important player for the club in Jose Mourinho’s tenure, which is a why a reunion with the Portuguese at Fenerbahce remains an attractive option for Hojbjerg.
