Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign a quality striker in the coming months and they have identified Napoli star Victor Osimhen as a target.
The striker is valued at €120 million as per Fichajes and it remains to be seen whether Daniel Levy is prepared to sanction a big money move for him. Tottenham sold Harry Kane during the summer transfer window and they have not brought in a direct replacement.
Richarlison was expected to step up and fill the void left by the England international, but the Brazilian has been rather underwhelming. It would be wise of Tottenham to invest in a reliable goalscorer and Osimhen is certainly one of the best in your right now.
The 24-year-old Nigerian international was outstanding for Napoli last season and he helped them win the league title. He managed to score 26 goals across all competitions and he is certainly good enough to play in the Premier League as well.
The 24-year-old would be a major coup for Spurs if they manage to pull it off. They should have the finances to seal the transfer, especially after selling Kane for a substantial amount of money.
It remains to be seen whether Osimhen is prepared to join Spurs in the coming months. The North London will not be able to provide him with Champions League football if he joins them midway through the campaign. However, they have started the season well and they will fancy their chances of returning to the Champions League next season.
