Report: Tottenham have contacted striker with 25 goals in 34 games over of a potential summer move

Tottenham Hotspur remains active in their pursuit of a centre-forward as the upcoming transfer window approaches.

The club has been linked with several strikers for a potential summer move in recent reports.

Among the names recently emerging, Cercle Brugge attacker Kevin Denkey has garnered attention.

According to Last Word On Spurs who cite German outlet Fussball Transfers, Tottenham have contacted the Togo international over a potential summer transfer.

The interest in the forward extends beyond North London, with top Bundesliga sides like Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen and Italian giants Napoli, also expressing interest in Denkey.

The 23-year-old currently leads the scoring charts in the Belgian top flight with an impressive tally of 25 goals in 34 league appearances. He holds a significant lead over the second-highest scorer, with the next player trailing by 7 goals.

Despite being under contract with the Belgian club until June 30, 2026, with more than two years remaining on his deal, Denkey’s future seems uncertain.

With significant interest from top clubs across Europe, there is anticipation that he could be poised for an exit from Bruges this summer.

It was recently confirmed by Cercle Brugge’s director that several top European clubs including Tottenham have been scouting their players.

Tottenham Hotspur, among other interested clubs, may seek to capitalise on this opportunity and make a move for Denkey at the reported price.
