Here I go again, on my own, walking down the only road under ENIC I’ve ever known…

Newcastle is 15th and we are 5th. Dwell upon that, friends…

I would fully expect Spurs to shift to Conte’s favored 352 well over 50% of the time if they sign a true10. Hojbjerg at the 6, Bentancur at the 8, CAM at the 10, Son and Kane up front, Kulu rotating.

Right.

Palace are in good form as well. Coming off an 0-2 win at Wolves, a 0-0 draw vs City and then a 4-0 drubbing of Everton in FA Cup.

I think they could give Arse trouble.

Their only game in hand is at Chelsea midweek.

Hoping Palace can cost them points later.

Romero is available for Spurs to buy for 42.5m quid after year long loan is complete.

They have already signed him to a 5 year contract, with the loan term serving as the first year… indicating that Spurs have every intention of immediately committing to the 42.5m txfr fee once the loan is completed.

Cheers.

Lol.. you want a freekick specialist in your starting 11. So where do you fit the creative mid so Kane do not come so deep?. Very interesting to see who starts next to Betancur next term. We are not going to have 2 defensive mid every game as we do now or will we. It looks good now because we gave an absolute baller in Rodrigo.

So, as they cry for good football and getting it, they too cynical to just celebrate with hope to try and catch Chelsea if they slip. Truth be told Mancity 14 points lead did not disappear without bad results. So instead of celebrating the good fortunes, we still complaining in a thumping. And by the way Liverpool and Mancity did not get to where they are by losing to inferior teams, but somehow folks here before and after the game are saying it is just New castle while singing the praises of our rivals. Nathan Aki @40m get a game yesterday. Let that sink in.

It’s taken a while for them to get it, it’s known that players often take time to adjust to it. Several former Conte players have spoken about it…

Well, yes. An achievement no other manager has reached at Spurs under Baldy, or even before Baldy for that matter!

I noted that Conte kept Royal away from the wing as much as possible in attacking scenarios, preferring Kulu or even Kane to be the wide attacker and Royal coming inside. An admission really that Royal is no WB.

Chavs aren’t dross (obviously) but they just got tonked at home, Spams are done this season domestically and Woolwich have the bit between their teeth now and are beating the mid table sides routinely. However if they have a slip up the situation might change of course…

Our problem is that Woolwich have not only the two games in hand but a fixture list of dross to play, going forward. They need a slip up or two to get them nervy, it’s in their hands now and not ours…

I can’t think of another team where 4/5 goals scored are from the worst players in their respective squad.

Every single one of those four scorers have come in for more criticism than anyone. Even today, in this blog they’ve been getting pelters. ( rightly so too ) but here we are. A different kind of Spursy …… A good one for a change. 👊

We’ve got a good array of attacking talent (aside from striker), it’s other positions that need reinforcing now to get a healthy squad that can aim higher than top 4.

First half Newcastle sat behind the ball, once we got in front they left space in behind which suited us going forward.
