You could well be right, because media people in the media have been sayng today that it is entirely possible that the stringent tests players go through won’t necessarily show up problems such as contributed to Eriksen’s collapse.
Fortunately he is a lot better today, but sadly it is possible he will not play football again.
Sterling over grealish…. This is why I hate watching England. Sterling been pants for a very good side, grealish carried an average one. Grealish game perfect for Kane… Sterling is a waste of a space.
I think unfortunately Christian must have underlying health problems which you can do nothing about. It probably would not have made any difference.

Surely the only reason this guy is needed is because the penny has finally dropped that other clubs would rather stick pins in their eyes than negotiate transfers with Levy? Time to move on, Daniel.
It’s being suggested that Trippier will be LB and Grealish won’t start.Absolutely Sterling,Rashford [form]and Henderson and Maguire [injury] should be nowhere near that team.
My tem for what it’s worth:
Pickford,James,Stones.Mings,Cholwell,Rice,Bellingham,Mount,Kane,Foden,Grealish.

An interesting article in the Mail which carries a tweet from Asmir Begovic. He blames the football authorities to an extent for Eriksen’s situation.Cramming more and more games into an already tight schedule to complete the season, the Euros then barely a break before the season restarts. His points have merit,as we have all seen the people who run the game absolutely put money before the welfare of the players.
Among media and fans I’ve noticed a brazen talking up of this England side. As if these players are world beaters already, alot of disregard of Croatia. These players have done nothing on the world stage and Southgate is clueless. They have optimum conditions but people are getting way ahead of themselves. They can’t score from open play for a start and left the only player who can deliver a ball at home. Big Bruno is one to watch…

A bit worrying how many times he said he was very ‘appy. Also mention of the world class stadium and training facilities. How many of the academy products are any good?None of our recent managers seem to have trusted them.
You would imagine Levy pushes the idea of promoting these kids.otherwise what was the point.I can’t help feling that we have heard that before.or is it just my imagination.
As far as I know he is experienced and has good connections within the game. It’s all a question of whether Levy is prepared to back him without interference, other wise we’re into another rince/repeat cycle.
You would have thoght that getting the DOF and manager in place before the season ended was the right way to go.How can either of them ,whilst still not in place, make judgements of the players when most are away with their countries and then will presumably will be away on holiday. But Levy said in the interview that Paratici would decide on who stays or goes.
Before you know it the new season is under way and we are stuck with the same squad basically. Our worst nightmare.
Exactly. That’s why I started calling it ENIC fc. It’s not Tottenham Hotspur now. He destroyed that and build something else I no longer relate to or recognize.

Surely if any one player defines Mr Levy’s flawed footballing nous it’s his failure to secure special talent JACK GREALISH in 2018!! When these guys come along you simply can’t afford to miss out and we did!!

I make no apologies for want of repetition that if any one player we badly missed out on in 2018 defines Mr Levy’s flawed footballing nous it’s JACK GREALISH. When special type of Gazzaesque players come along you simply have to buy them at all cost and JG is one of these special talents who could and probably would have been the catalyst if wining some silverware for the club!!
So enic success model is based on fancy training facilities and stadium. Question to you who is the more successful club in the last 20 years us or Leicester??.
So if the thfc team continues to fail and fall and levy gets a good American throw a ball team that are making more money who then does the stadium belong to.
Much better idea on match days to not fill the stadium. A full stadium even with levy/enic out banners and songs only pays the bills that keeps enic in power.

Does anyone else think it’s weird that Daniel seems to have deliberately avoided the title “Director of Football”, and has instead gone for the strange “Managing Director, Football” title?
Well he ain’t selling up yet is he. Get your nut round it.
The NFL ain’t no threat. Thfc gonna rinse them
We gonna rinse everyone who uses our home when we aint
Actually Levy is the organisation, he’s the dna, the fans should fill the stadium with anti levy noise, it might be the only way to get at him. Obviously the levy interview was a reaction to it as he was like a kid going but but but….
The video on this article isn’t levy is it, I think I’m loosing it? Anyway
Paratici I think wasn’t to bad on this, he’s got to be subtle and manage upwards as well, which I guess other directors of football didn’t do.
I don’t hate him, but he fronts up an organisation that have let the supporters down and led them down the garden path. He deserves all the flack he’s getting (apart from being wished dead by some). There is no basis on which to defend, stick up for or condone anything he or ENIC have done that has resulted in ONE League Cup in 22 years. End of.
Well, he got a 2m bonus for finishing the stadium and is the highest paid chairman in the league. My sympathy for his position and the ‘challenges’ that might come with it are absolutely zilch…
I think that in his role as our chairman, the things he comes out with put him on the ‘knob head’ category yes I do. It’s an expression of how out of touch and manipulative he and ENIC are and have been for so long. This is the man who has made this great club “anchor tenants” in what their business model regards as “the home of the NFL outside the U.S”.
He’s run out of credibility, 22 years is long enough. Time to sell up and leave it to people with the balls to take it on and use some of their own money… He’s earned the right to be regarded as a ‘knob head’ by the fans, 100%.
I think he has the reality of the situation, it’s what he didn’t say or corrected himself is important, though if he really has any power is another thing.
How long does this guy think that banging on about the stadium and training facilities is going to cut it for?
‘World class’ facilities must be associated with a world class team, otherwise none of it is actually ‘world class’ at all in any sporting sense whatsoever. Someone needs to take him to one side and tell him to stop, it’s only winding the fans up even more…
“Fantastic stadium, fantastic training ground, big squad” he’s literally admitted the squad is full of crap the academy hasn’t produced

“We will spend, but we are a self-sustaining club. We have to be sensible, we have had circumstances where the coach doesn’t want us to spend on an actual player. We will make investments into the squad.”
What a completely useless statement. “We will spend” what are we supposed get the bunting out?!
“the coach doesn’t want us to spend on an actual player” Probably because he feels the player you have offered him won’t improve the team.
Yeah, we’ve been on a journey….from the Champions League to the Euro Conference.
Stadium and facilities. 1/5 I said……more like 1/100. Am ‘appy

The fact he pronounces ‘excited’ as ‘exited’ could be prophetic.

Trip at left back too! What a joke. Imagine if we had 2 world class keepers, Southgate would play one in midfield
Joke.
Even Luka has talked about the arrogance of the English media. They’re up for this.
No shock, Sterling starts AGAIN. Him and Southgate must be having a bit on the side. He is cack.
There is big pink elephant in the room.
Sterling over grealish…. This is why I hate watching England. Sterling been pants for a very good side, grealish carried an average one. Grealish game perfect for Kane… Sterling is a waste of a space.
Nice lad but good riddance. He makes as many mistakes as Dier.
Nothing surprises me about what he does tbh. He’s entirely unpredictable and a loose cannon.
That was the footballing balls up of the century and should have seen him sacked on the spot as it proved his judgement was non existent.
The ability of Fab being able to do his job hinges entirely on the control freak Levy. Personally I can’t see him ever changing, it’s in his DNA.
Pen maybe
Tripps LB?? Southgate is mad if that happens.
Rashford should score today.
I think unfortunately Christian must have underlying health problems which you can do nothing about. It probably would not have made any difference.

It’s an NFL stadium no matter what. They have told us that. There is no argument there. ENIC stated it in plain English.
Exactly. That’s why I started calling it ENIC fc. It’s not Tottenham Hotspur now. He destroyed that and build something else I no longer relate to or recognize.
Unless I am mistaken the last time we appointed a DOF was Daniel Camolli, a legend of his own CV?!
Don’t be surprised if Skipp is sold to Norwich cheaply. If so, it would be another in a long line of baffling decisions by the club.
Few days old now but one of those articles where you hoped Levy was reading.

Depends on who you make the comparison against.
…………….but he is sowappy!
Foyth gone for £12m…I bet we regret that. Yes prone to mistakes, but I bet he would have been one of better defenders last season (very low bar).
Hope CE27 is ok
Oh🌚
I was talking about Levy.
Fab p top dof
Still going on about that £2mil bonus. Damn man
I’m talking fab p. He’s only been here 2 mins and already he’s a knob head
Well he ain’t selling up yet is he. Get your nut round it.

We will have a first class team. Give him a chance
I think he has the reality of the situation, it’s what he didn’t say or corrected himself is important, though if he really has any power is another thing.

Fab p. Welcome mate, now get to work
You think he’s a knob head? He ain’t.
He genuinely thinks these sorts of inane statements still have currency, They don’t, he’s completely out of touch…
Big squad is the phrase he used. He’s admitted it’s a holding position at the moment so ropey league if we do well is the reward for next season.
“Fantastic stadium, fantastic training ground, big squad” he’s literally admitted the squad is full of crap the academy hasn’t produced

He obviously thinks we’re all stupid…
Knob head.
You may not like our home but your grandkids will
a few said he would spout that crap, and so will the new manager….
I was quite happy on my second pill….
I feel for the chap….
Yeah, we’ve been on a journey….from the Champions League to the Euro Conference.
