Source Close To Club: José Is Is Actually Itching To Lift The Lid On All The Dropped Points At Tottenham

By The Boy -

Jose was asked about dropped points when we were in front. His reply: That’s what I’m not ready to discuss with you. I think it has to do with some of our qualities as a team, but I’m not ready to discuss with you. (When?) Maybe never.

Today’s presser was as bafflingly light as the last one, and one cannot but help but feel we have entered into the same spiral that Pochettino embraced in his own ‘end of days’ final furlong.

Cover your mouth because the truth WILL sink you
Cover your mouth because the truth WILL sink you

A source close to the club tells me that Mourinho understands the Non-disclosure agreement that he signed, but the Portuguese is a very wealthy man in his own right, and his plight at Tottenham is something he wants to talk about.

In short, if the 58-year-old were to leave Tottenham without a trophy, then his reputation would be forever damaged. The ability to have a right to reply, to explain what he was up against is something that currently weighs heavy in José’s mind.

If things continue as they have been at Spurs, then we can expect the pressers to become even more strained…

who disagrees that? and what is got to do that with the title and topic of Spurs dropping points when they were in a leading position to win the games, remember Dele whatever he is or doing Mourinho dropped him long time and Dele was and is eager to quit the club Levy Stopped that, so he is nothing to do with Mourinho team wether they win or lose his position is clear he wants to leave and Mourinho position is clear he don’t want him and trusts him so you can claim Dele is responsible for Spurs dropping points the games they were in a leading position to win the game, you can criticise or dislike or say whatever you want about Dele that is different topic but he has nothing to do with Spurs dropping points while they were in a leading position the 10 or 11 games they played hope it clears cheers.

I thought the topic the title and the discussion was why Tottenham lost games while they were in a leading position and ended up dropping points and Jose will reveal why is that? I did not know we were discussing wether Dele was a man, a housewife, a gay or transsexual or whatever he is.

Wouldn’t you be slagging off your boss with your workmates if he was giving you grief? Let’s just assume you don’t feel that you haven’t been pulling your weight etc, how would you feel about it?

Its not the players fault that they get paid obscene amounts of money. Does that mean they’re always just scheming, spoiled brats because they want to play rather than be frozen out? Nope.

Jose’s man management style is completely out of step with top flight football in 2021, for me it’s bordering on atrocious…

Jose must be feeling like one of those poor wretches, swindled out of their life savings by some snide Nigerian Prince.
It all seemed so genuine 😳

Jose seems function best in a crisis by taking the stance of being ‘wronged’ or let down by others. That might work for him personally and even how he feels the world perceives him, it doesn’t half divide opinions in the squad though. To the point that it becomes irreparable and he ends up sacked. It’s happened in his last two jobs and something similar happened at Madrid believe.

Too many players not trying hard enough to get in the first 11. The only person responsible for Dele not being involved is Dele

I hope Jose rides this out, he has his faults and has made mistakes but we need someone like him to rebuild not a new wide eyed puppet coach.

The media build this negativity around Jose and I hope he proves them wrong as it says more about Spurs if he fails than him

Mourinho gets to have his say on how he sees things but when do the players have their say with the media ?

Spot on. “the real housewives of N17” ( apologies to all hard working homemakers) Those pics drew my ire at the time (the cat has recovered btw) they are paid handsomely to train and generally be “professional” at a minimum. I note young Dane Scarlett does not appear to be in the clique thankfully

I like Moura, Lamela, Bergwijn. They work hard, press well, make space and runs. Doherty isn’t a right back he has been out of position all year and his confidence is shot. Aurier isn’t really a right back also he would be much better as a wing back. Sanchez I am really not sure about. He has the same problems as Kaboul did – very good physicality and sometimes plays really well – but his focus and attention isn’t there. Vinicius hasn’t been given a fair chance, and his goals per game average is very good for the number of chances he has. Davies and Dier for me have always been squad level players whose only benefit is their flexibility. Sissoko a couple of years ago was looking very good, and he fine as cover for the DM role.

I don’t quite follow. Are you implying that Dele is at fault for our troubles?
I get it you don’t rate him and his form has fallen off a cliff from when he burst through but it does seem that you are scapegoating him

I don’t see Maureen as blameless. He’s falling out with a lot of players which damages team morale, whether we like the individuals in question or not. Team selection and tactics has also been questionable too often, IMO.

Hart, Doherty, Berg, Vini and Bale were all signed on Jose’s watch. So he’s a 15m patsy? Doesn’t look good either way you look at it.

Maureen should tell it as it is. Everyone can see the problems. Censorship is damaging. The above photos are telling. The amateur exit from the Europa league was what took the wind out of his sails as it would any manager.

Agree most of those look unexciting now with the benefit of hindsight late in the season (though I feel Moura and even Lamela have done OK) but at the start of it I bet most fans would have accepted those players as our 2nd choice XI, which most of them are.

We have not lost to Newcastle this season, we drew both games, however we did lose to them at home in front of fans last season under Poch.
You say ” We have poor players, but we have a pretty good squad” – classic!
Who out of the following would you be really eager for us to buy if they were not already at Tottenham;

Hart
Aurier
Doherty
Sanchez
Dier
Davies
Sissoko
Winks
Moura
Lamela
Bergwijn
Vinicius
Bale

HH I don’t know why you highlighting Dele? why we dropping points has nothing to do with Dele, Mourinho has dropped Dele long time ago and Dele just wanted to leave after that it is well known so I don’t see the relation between dropping points and Dele since he is not involved in the league this season and rarely featured in any competition!

Sorry – but at the start of the year we would not have swapped the squad of West Ham, Leicester or Everton. We got knocked out of the cup by Zagreb and Everton, we have lost to teams like Brighton (15th), Newcastle (17th)…dont get me started on teh quality of teams we ahve drawn against. We are 4th worst for points dropped from winning positions (others a relegation fighters). At some point the “Poor little Jose” will ahve to accept that he is the 2nd best paid manager in the world of Soccer…and actually accept the blame. Ok, we have troubled players, but how many games we started the same back 4? why is it we have the most dangerous attack in the PL but play counter attack football where we try to use one of the worst defences to soak up the pressure? Why is the half time team talk seems to result in a worse 2nd half…ok…so people saying “this is not what the manager told us to do”…so why are they doing it. That is either, they are lying and Jose is a dropping a clanger with instructions, or his players have no faith in him so ignoring his instuctions. I am sorry – Jose is not the down trodden poor fellow in this, he is paid more than all our players (even Kane) at some point he needs to accept some responsibility and actually coach what he has. Ok, we have poor players, but we have a pretty good squad.
