The Guardian bring us the word that Spurs are in for the Iceman, Ragnar Sigurdsson.
Ragnar is a 30 year old central defender whose presence was highlighted after a recent Man Of The Match performance against England.
The former Copenhagen star would cost around £4million and has attracted the attention of a host of other clubs around Europe, supposedly including our old friends, Leicester City.
Shipping in a centre back doesn’t seem to be a priority, but for a competent player to allow either Toby or Verts to take a breather, then it;s a price that makes sense.
Sigurdsson has Champions League form, he played for FC Copenhagen in their 2013/14 campaign.
What’s happened on the Vincent Janssen front?
According to L’Equipe, PSG are interested in signing the 22-year-old after watching him score 31 goals last season for AZ Alkmaar.
Personally I find it hilarious that all these other clubs are reportedly bustling round trying to sign players to boost their squads – but nobody will be laughing when they ‘do a Leeds’.
