As Tim Sherwood goes about his business, quietly dismantling all evidence of the last bloke, it’s now Nacer Chadli’s turn to feel the cold embrace of the Lilywhite death grip.
Chadli’s agent Daniel Evrard says:
It’s a hectic day so it is difficult for him to take the decision. Swansea is interesting because he could play number 10 but Nacer would prefer to stay with Tottenham,”
There are a lot of clubs who want to take him on loan – in Germany, Holland and Belgium. Olympiakos have also said they are interested.
Swansea would be the best option for him because he would like to stay in the Premier League. But he has only been playing at this level for a few months and if he can stay at Spurs I’m sure he will become somebody.”
Chadli on loan is probably one move that obvious sense. There’s not a hope in hell of anyone paying whatever figure the chairman has cooked up as a current valuation.
