There was a post from some Facebook Spurs group the other day that said Spurs were the best team and had the best Chairman in the world. I didn’t know whether to laugh or be angry that such stupidity existed amongst some Spurs fans.

The new manager needs substantial funds. That will only come from selling Kane and Son. A fire sale is badly needed to throw out the deadwood. This can’t be a 3 year project, it needs to be done as soon as possible. Spurs need a clean slate. Having Aurier, Doherty, Dier, Sanchez, Winks, Toby (too old), Davies, Lamela, Ndom and Sissoko is only going to harm us.

If you’ve been coached to sit deep for 18 months you can’t change that against quality opponents within a week. Could have gone either way in the end but no fluidity in attack and not good enough with the ball at our feet. I’m not blaming just the players for that…
