We are run by crooks pretty much, not in the legal sense but certainly the misleading message they send to the fans that they want on pitch success. Total con men…

Think Guardiola knew that our fullbacks would be our main source of supply into Kane and Sonny. He forced them back with Mahrez and Sterling. I mean Aurier is easy to target and being Spanish he probably already knew plenty about Reggie.
That was the key for me along with the fact we aren’t fluid in attack at all these days because I suspect of all the defensive focused coaching. You cant just switch at this level…
Pep is a big money manager, as Jose was. Give them real turds to polish and they’d struggle… Success cones from the top, regardless of players and coaches really. Certainly if you have a good coach you back him…
The commentators at one point said “Sterling has improved so much, he used to be such an inconsistent finisher at Liverpool, where he needed three or four chances to score just one goal.”
He LITERALLY needs three or four passable chances to hit the target, nevermind scoring. What are they smoking there?

Arguably Son’s worst game, yet poor Moura, our one bright spark gets taken off. Very strange subs.
… and will be next season with this same lot of shirkers.

Jamie Redknapp talking nonsense again. Pep Guardiola improves players apparently. Who has he improved? Sterling is still as inconsistent as when he was at Liverpool. He buys quality and together they win. Pep has just stated it himself, he has been at top clubs. Pundits need to grab a dose of reality.
Remember they’ll only go if levy gets what he wants and he thinks they are worth twice as much as they really are so unfortunately can’t see it happening but you have to hope

There was a post from some Facebook Spurs group the other day that said Spurs were the best team and had the best Chairman in the world. I didn’t know whether to laugh or be angry that such stupidity existed amongst some Spurs fans.

The new manager needs substantial funds. That will only come from selling Kane and Son. A fire sale is badly needed to throw out the deadwood. This can’t be a 3 year project, it needs to be done as soon as possible. Spurs need a clean slate. Having Aurier, Doherty, Dier, Sanchez, Winks, Toby (too old), Davies, Lamela, Ndom and Sissoko is only going to harm us.
ENIC spent 360m on land using Spurs money…this is the result in that…he got lucky with Poch and some English players coming through, not any more, our players are worthless now..how much would Alli go for?
No point bringing on a quality finisher when you can’t keep the ball. 1 shot on target in the whole match. Pathetic. I was hoping we’d give it a go and probably lose gallantly, but no, we play true to form. Serial bottlers, no winning mentality, and that’s not just the players.

Beaten 1-0 by possibly the best team in the world right now. Given our club’s situation, it could have been a lot worse.

Mason has fluffed his chance, he needed to make an example of a player to stamp his authority, now shown himself as a valet and players who took the wee before know it.

That’s what happens when you spend hundreds of millions on a team, rather than run up almost a billion in debt building a stadium and neglect the team…
Alright, the challenge was poor, but that wasn’t the only reason for us being bad and generally Aurier was better than he normally is. Mason looked like a rabbit in the headlights and taking off Moura was a rookie tactical error.
A game hanging in the balance late on, Aurier makes a stupid challenge and we concede off the set-piece that follows. What a shocker. – standard match report for a quarter of games this season.
He’s mates with young Ryan. That’s why Bale and Dele got a day out. Pathetic

Feel for Mason, but taking off Lucas was a poor decision. As was putting on Bale.
But hey, at least the shackles are off now that we’ve sacked the previous guy, right?
City didn’t need to win that game, today was different.

The performance was the same as Levy would have been on those ESL zoom calls. We aren’t there even so called elite players don’t grab the side and lift the side, how far away was this from say the Wembley Madrid game
If you’ve been coached to sit deep for 18 months you can’t change that against quality opponents within a week. Could have gone either way in the end but no fluidity in attack and not good enough with the ball at our feet. I’m not blaming just the players for that…

We can’t compete off or on the pitch with City, but we fluffed our lines. When quality was needed, we didn’t have it. Levy was banking on the ESL and now we are doomed, unless like Perez says the ESL is far from done.
Moura the only player moving forward – no, you come off!!

Inevitable end… Even if it took 85mins. We are just not a team anywhere near competing. Anyone worth keeping gone in the summer. I can am worried we will return to the early 00’s where we would average 1.2-1.5 PTS a game. Where winning was closer to Russian roulette.

Mourinho would have known how to make the loss look like an unjust one, in the presser, blaming Laportes non-sending-off as the reason for the result.
Bale in the biggest game of the season wanting a second longer on the ball than anyone on the pitch…absolutely useless he was, even Sissy knew the tempo of the game
The substitutions took away any attacking threat we had. Moura was arguably our best player, Son has a stinker, yet Moura gets subbed! Why anyone picks Sissoko is a mystery. He was pathetic at the corner.
A cluster fak which is predictable. Aurier again. Winks ffs. Harry dont waste your time and energy doing a post mortem on this, just cut and paste old blogs which describe again the sorry bunch of nearly men.
The sad thing is that we’re in it for the long haul, it’ll take 3-4 years to get rid of all these names and replace them.
We are run by crooks pretty much, not in the legal sense but certainly the misleading message they send to the fans that they want on pitch success. Total con men…

Aguero has one league goal this season, yet City can win 3 trophies. Where would Spurs be if Kane only scored one goal?
Think you’d better brace yourself for this mob still being here next season.
Sissoko is supposed to be strong and big, but he utterly failed defensively. Combine that with Aurier’s brainfart, and there you have it.
Pep is a big money manager, as Jose was. Give them real turds to polish and they’d struggle… Success cones from the top, regardless of players and coaches really. Certainly if you have a good coach you back him…
True, but he lost his head at a crucial moment again.
It has happened too many times to be a coincidence. He’s a liability.
The commentators at one point said “Sterling has improved so much, he used to be such an inconsistent finisher at Liverpool, where he needed three or four chances to score just one goal.”

…and Sissoko failed to defend against Laporte. Whatv was the point of bringing him on. Surely Ndombele was a better option.
Silly me for not realising that!!!!🤣🤣
10 year olds with a FB account!
Agreed. Don’t know if I have any hope left!
Nonsense. All you need is a top stadium and ‘world class’ training facilities.
Remember they’ll only go if levy gets what he wants and he thinks they are worth twice as much as they really are so unfortunately can’t see it happening but you have to hope

I agree he had his chance today messed it up yes we were lucky but still had a chance but the subs didn’t make any sense at all
That’s what happens when you invest in, y’know, the team!!!
Get Benitez in till the end of the season then pay everything you need to to get the German lad…
Sums it up when you’re pleased to lose only 1 – 0
Kane gone, Sonny gone, add the players that need shifting…..add the players we spent a small fortune on…what a mess..
I’ll buy him for a fiver, and then use him as a car cleaner. That’s his level now.
Indeed, he had a very good game.
ENIC spent 360m on land using Spurs money…this is the result in that…he got lucky with Poch and some English players coming through, not any more, our players are worthless now..how much would Alli go for?

ENIC OUT!
Trying to reserect the deal for him to go to city, otherwise haven’t a clue
Alright, the challenge was poor, but that wasn’t the only reason for us being bad and generally Aurier was better than he normally is. Mason looked like a rabbit in the headlights and taking off Moura was a rookie tactical error.
I’d give Mason till the end of the season if it allows us to get in a manager who might make a difference
Because as Bale showed against Saints he’s a quality finisher, I would have brought him on but not Sissy and probably not Alli either.
We played like our form was like, but players wanted to attack, but we lost it in the middle and right side again. Same players different coach.
A game hanging in the balance late on, Aurier makes a stupid challenge and we concede off the set-piece that follows. What a shocker. – standard match report for a quarter of games this season.

Awful sub.
Leeds can’t compete off the pitch either
If you’ve been coached to sit deep for 18 months you can’t change that against quality opponents within a week. Could have gone either way in the end but no fluidity in attack and not good enough with the ball at our feet. I’m not blaming just the players for that…

Unfortunately it can and will.
They were shocking.
boring….go and manage Spurs pep, lets see how good you are…
Pamela and Nbelly should have been on before the oxygen thieves that are Bale and Ali
They are fed up with each other.
We had a decent first ten mins of second half then the substitutions just killed it
He and Hugo can hold their heads high
ENIC.
We just don’t compete – no pride, no enjoyment, no hope, its terrible beyond words…
Yep… we had a chance up until then
And still……1 league cup in 21 years.
😶
Bale was a game changer as was Ali.
At least we made a game of it. Oh wait…
Bale in the biggest game of the season wanting a second longer on the ball than anyone on the pitch…absolutely useless he was, even Sissy knew the tempo of the game
Without aldierveld it could be much worse.
I hate ENIC so much…this can’t go on….
Thanks Mr Levy.
Sack the manager
Thank @#@% they sacked Jose.
Nagelsman’s gotta a lot to do
At least the players can’t moan about the manager
We were a beaten docket before the game started.
Mason Friends (Inbetweeners)
well at least it wasn’t 5-0
100%
Subs have been laughable
Ryan’s got all his mates on now
The substitutions took away any attacking threat we had. Moura was arguably our best player, Son has a stinker, yet Moura gets subbed! Why anyone picks Sissoko is a mystery. He was pathetic at the corner.
We’ve been absolutely battered 1-0.
At least they use to be good…unlike Winks and Sissoko always sh#t
Gareth Bale and Daniel Levy are filthy f#@$$g rich. That’s the main thing.
Welsh ****
Burned out like Kane.
Biggest surprise is what a bottle job Sonny has been in this game…awful
Bale and Dele have turned the match…
And we’d be Sheffield Utd.
Levy didn’t want to win it…neither do the players by this…
We should bring on Dele Alli!
If Burnley had Kane they’d be Spurs
Yeah totally agree and le Celso can at least pass forward…
We had a lucky run to get to the final and don’t deserve to be there….so bad..
Cmon look at the big picture.
A cluster fak which is predictable. Aurier again. Winks ffs. Harry dont waste your time and energy doing a post mortem on this, just cut and paste old blogs which describe again the sorry bunch of nearly men.
Horrible.
Subs have been dubious
