Gary Neville has told Sky Sports that signing Tottenham striker Harry Kane would be right on trend with Manchester United’s transfer policy.
However, the Old Trafford legend believes that Kane’s recent suggestion about leaving Spurs could merely have been leverage against Daniel Levy after his decision to furlough 550 non-playing staff amid the COVID-19 crisis.
But I think that there was more to Kane’s comments in his Instagram interview with Jamie Redknapp last month than to start a power struggle with Levy.
