Former Tottenham Flop Enjoys Daft Football Stat

By Ron Carne -

Georges-Kevin NKoudou’s stint with us was quite something, and he’s found a reason to jokingly mock a goals statistic after his struggles.

The 25-year-old featured 27 times for us over a four-year span and he managed just one goal and two assists in those outings.

Loan spells with Burnley and Monaco didn’t do him much good, and he hasn’t quite set the world alight since joining Besiktas last year either.

Still, he seemingly sees the funny side of this particular goalscoring stat as seen below.

It’s irony at its finest as he never showed much to suggest that he could be a more prolific presence for us in the final third, but he appears to have enjoyed the idea of potentially being a clinical figurehead.

On this occasion, it’s hard to disagree with him as it’s not worth taking much from this statistic given how badly he struggled when he was still with us.

While we might be struggling ourselves with injuries in the final third currently, you’d be hard pressed to find many who would consider NKoudou as a potential solution.
