Bayern Munich are said to be in advanced talks to sign Desire Doue.
Doue has rapidly emerged as one of Europe’s most promising young talents.
Joining Rennes’ youth academy at the age of five, he signed his first professional contract with the club in April 2022.
Spurs have long admired Doue, whose versatility and skill set make him a valuable asset.
Primarily an attacking midfielder, Doue can also perform effectively on either wing or as a forward.
His ability to adapt to various attacking roles aligns well with the tactical approach under manager Ange Postecoglou.
Last season, Doue made 31 appearances, scoring four goals and providing five assists in 17 starts.
But Bayern Munich seem to be in advanced talks to sign him.
They had a previous bid rejected but are preparing a new offer.
That is according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg who has claimed that new Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has personally spoken to the player about a move to Germany.
He adds that the German giants are in advanced negotiations with Rennes and the player to seal the deal.
