So what is it that you actually known about the player. We can whine and groan about signings as generic happenings and blah Levy blah ENIC. The problem with your statement is not whether another club is coming for the top class player, but that your club (who is suppose to be big club) can go out and execute a plan to bring in those that fits us and the players want to be here. I watched him play and he is better than all we got right now. At any position you need that one player as the anchor, in midfield who will partner PEH, upfront, for now who partner Harry. So same with the defense having a stud will make Dier looks capable. The joke here is if Toby goes and Dier stays. He will be our opening day starter. Be positve. We need another holding mid, but am rooting for Skipp, we will be fine.

If nothing else we’re sourcing guys from a different country than in recent years.
Player of the year in Serie A last season. He looks the b*llocks. Irrelevant anyway coz Levy will refuse to pay the extra 5m and he’ll end up at a proper club..
Top young player I do think it will be a year before we see him full swing but what a talent if all true then 3 top players in

Romero is top top class in the John terry mould great signing I watch loads of Italy football n Atalanta r my fav team to watch keeper will take no1 off lloris easy Romero will be a force 43 is a steal should be shot loads higher
Italian defender of the year last season. I think he just fits our way of doing things, taking a bit of a punt on a 23 yr old as opposed to a Skriniar. Lets hope it pays off. He looks the real deal from what I’ve seen…..in Italy and for Argentina at least.
Nobody seems to be able to make a head nor tail of this business….least of all the Express who 5 hours ago announce Levys sanctioned a 38 million deal for Romero only to say 2 hours ago Atalanta want 43 million…..I’m hearing all sorts of stuff about him being this and that but if he’s such a bomb why is nobody else in for him, and why would 38 million be doable for a so called star in his early twenty’s? It’s Sanchez alllll over again.

Anyone watch Bryan Gill in the Olympics match? He came on for the last 35 minutes against Oz and looked very good indeed, helped Spin win against a stubborn defence. I think we might have a special player on our hands once he adapts to the PL.
