Bookies Make Harry Kane & Jack Grealish Undroppable

By The Boy -

LADBROKES HAVE REVEALED THE MOST LIKELY starting line-up for England against Croatia this Sunday.

Having won their two Euro 2020 warm-up friendlies, the bookies have priced up the 11 names most fancied to make Gareth Southgate’s starting XI, and the latest odds suggest Jack Grealish (4/7) has forced his way into the team.

It means the England boss looks set to make room for Grealish, Phil Foden (1/4) AND Mason Mount who is as short as 1/16 for a place in the starting line-up – although it’ll come at the expense of Raheem Sterling or Marcus Rashford.

The Man City and Man United stars are priced at 10/11 apiece to start against Croatia, meaning one will miss out, while Tyrone Mings (10/11) is the most likely man to feature in place of the injured Harry Maguire.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Southgate’s not known for going all-out in his attack, but Mason Mount, Phil Foden, and Jack Grealish have made themselves simply droppable, and while Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford have pretty much been ever-present for the England boss, the latest odds suggest one of them will be missing out on a starting spot against Croatia.”

Yes, we’re being used in such a way that Lewis and Levy can make pots of money at the football club’s expense, with the football itself – and the quality of the team- an irrelevance outside Enic’s imposed raison d’etre for it ie to qualify for the CL to further enrich the coffers! B……s to glory!

Levy doesn’t seem to realize even yet that unless he quite substantially releases the purse strings those coffers will not be further enriched by CL qualification and that is something for him to ponder even if HE and his cronies aren’t much interested in winning league titles etc or bothering with domestic cups.

“there used to be a football club there!”. Another excellent, entertaining and informative blog, Harry. While your comments seem intelligent, lucid and coherent and, as a result, I go along with most of what you say and that Enic are taking Spurs fans for mugs (sadly, quite a lot of them seem to be! Though there seems to be a gradual but slow awakening of others), I am concerned by the massive stadium debt. It does seem as though Enic are just using Spurs to fund their projects and the club accrues all the debt!

Watching England’s warm up games. I hope and prey Southgate stays on as England manager. His anti football is not what we want or need at Spurs right now.
