Journalist feels Barcelona, Real Madrid would love to sign Tottenham prodigy

Tottenham midfielder Mikey Moore is highly rated around England and he could develop into a key player for the club in the coming seasons.

The Tottenham academy has produced some exciting young talents in recent years and Moore seems to be the next big thing at the club.

Journalist Josh Hughes has now revealed on the Spurs chat podcast that the highly rated young midfielder could be on the radar of top clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool.

“Mikey Moore has bypassed the U21s and has come straight into the first-team. The talent is so crazy and off the charts for him. There’s not a single club in the world who wouldn’t take a Mikey Moore. The likes of Barca, Real Madrid, City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, they’d all take him,” Hughes said.

Hughes believes that all of these clubs would be happy to snap up Moore given the opportunity. The 16-year-old is already a part of the first-team squad. It will be interesting to see if he’s given first-team opportunities next season. He could prove to be a useful option for Tottenham, especially in the cup games.

The midfielder is still quite young and he might not be ready to start in the Premier League just yet. The 16-year-old should concentrate on working hard in training and impressing the manager for now. There is no doubt that he is a prodigious talent and he will get opportunities in the near future. It will be interesting to see if he can force his way into Ange Postecoglou’s plans in the coming months.
