Correction. 31 is 11th prime. Wembley=31.
Southgate got his England 11th loss and England got their 11th Euros loss.

Grealish is destined to go the sameway as Hoddle all those years ago. You have to embrace him and build the team to his strengths. Do that and Harry will score a hatful for England as well as Spurs. Shame is its not in Southgate’s DNA.

Stay Harry and lead the charge for next season’s EL placings.
In Nuno Levy Trusts (better than Conte/Zorro/ETH etc)

Just because you can’t understand or except certain things doesn’t make them rubbish.
Bonucci scores the equalizer after 67 mins. Bonucci=67
He wears 19, 67 is the 19th prime number. Italy=67. The attendance was 67,173. There was 173 days left in year yesterday. Leonardo=132 England=132.
Euros began and ended on 11th. Final ends 1-1. Donnarumma the hero wears 21. 21 the 11th prime number, in Euro21. Poor old Seb Eubank had two 11’s tattooed on his torso….
All rubbish though. Or maybe we don’t know everything.

Says stuff this all the time. Don’t know if he genuinely believes this rubbish or he’s just paranoid to a massive extent. Hard to tell the difference..

Who do you mean by “they”? The idea that Southgate/the FA/the Illuminati threw the match in order to serve some other imagined agenda is ridiculous.

Also. What the heck is Mason Mount? Talk about hype. Dunno what his background is or how he got here(clues in the name?). I can’t work out what he offers, don’t see he has a pass, doesn’t score goals, no pace, it perplexing. Football is obviously who you know. How he was ahead of Grealish and Foden is also a crime. I really think they knew Grealish or Foden would have dazzled and they did not want that happening.

Sterling got 14 in all comps in a dominant City team that went to the final of every comp bar one, which was a semi final. His goals for England have been largely against part timer farmers. If Sterling did what Grealish did everyone would be raving, came on and changed the Germany match and made 2 goals, set up an on the line header in his only start. Sterling though was set up to be England’s star by hook or by crook, all because of the off the pitch narrative. Sterling didn’t pass to Kane or link up once yesterday in 120 minutes. That is extraordinary for a 10 to fail to link up with the striker at all. He should av come off at h/t or definitely 50 odd mins bit no, I think there must be a part in the coronavirus act that says Sterling mustn’t be subbed. The semi final non penalty situation was the smoking gun. It was beyond farcical by then.

That’s the frustration of Southgate. 70 minute subs and you always knew who was going off and who was coming on. If us fans knew it you could bet your life the Italians did too.

100% correct. Sterling is that player that’s always in the way. Plus he has a problem staying up right. Over rated IMO

Didn’t touch the ball in the opposition area for 75 mins or something. Didn’t get his trophy. He’s off. If he has any sense.

One of the highlights of this tournament has been the Italian team’s singing of their national anthem.Compared to the dirge that we have to sing along to it was really unlifting.

Was I alone in thinking that the whole sound for the Italian anthem was purposely muted and the cameras chose not to feature half of them.Maybe that was a sign that we knew we weren’t going to win.

I couldn’t agree more with your latest daily briefing. These are issues that I have spoken about and thought of for some time.

Hopefully it seems more people are waking up to the fact that Sterling is not going to do Harry any favours. It seems these days that to criticising him is almost blasphemous.Yes he had a hand in one or two of our best moments in the tournament, but he is selfish and greedy.

I thought that his position was out wide which would mean he should be responsible for getting in crosses for the likes of Kane. But no he chose,or was instructed by Southgate,to play mostly through the centre meaning Kane was dropping back to try and create something.Southgate is just too to be England’s manager.tactically inept

I agree with you 100% I almost wrote a full “debrief” this morning and one of the main issues I felt was we were allowed to make 6 subs, yet we barely made any, and I could predict exactly who was coming off, based on who was coming on. So surprises at all. I think Kane will be more inspired to leave now. This is the 2nd time he failed at a final and I doubt he wakes up today hoping to fail a 3rd time before he retires. Stuff it….my England thoughts:
Southgate – we started the game with 2 CB’s, 3 fullbacks and 2 defensive midfielders. We got an early goal on the quick counter and then failed to try that again for the rest of the game. At 70mins (despite not seeing the ball enough, or playing the pace game) he swapped Trip for Saka (almost the exact opposite as last game, and predictable) then he didnt bring on a game changer until well into extra time, and we looked better. A lot of players were playing badly, but clearly were undroppable.
Kane – bar the early 20mins, Kane did nothing. He was man marked so close I thought he would shower with Chelini. The runners from deep could have changed this, but we resorted to long balls leaving him isolated. I am avid Kane fan, but he almost needed to come off. However, he does change games when chances come. When he got the ball his class was so clear to see.
Sterling – another, who changes games, and Southgate seems as undroppable. I think the biggest issue England has is Kane and sterling are just not suited. Sterling is a great player off the ball, but when he has it, his decision making is dreadful, his passes are usually the wrong choice or dont happen, and he takes one too many touches.
Mount – did he play? Lord knows why he gets the nod over Grealish? Defensive ability is one argument but we had 5 defenders and 2 DM’s on teh pitch. Should have come off in real time and as soon as Grealish was stripping off you knew Mount was coming off (again, Southgate predicatble).
Philips and Rice – great performance, really was. Game got worse as they got tired.
Trip – I thought he was ok, but lost his man a lot as simply put, he is not a wing back, and much like his time at Spurs, didnt know when to push on or defend in wing back role.
Shaw – he has been great this tournament, but vanished in 2nd half, didnt go froward to join attack
back 3 – were too far apart too many times, usually as had to cover ground the wing backs should havee covered.

Saka – didnt play to his speed at all – not his fault, but seemed pointless brining him on. looked good whne he got the ball
Sancho and Rashford – the most ridiculous subs ever!!

I have no doubt this failure will spur him on to leave us so that he can win silverware.

The problem he has with England is the manager. No matter how many platitudes pass between them,Harry knows that until Southgate builds the team around creative talent like Grealish,Foden and Mount then he will always be starved of service.Bringing them on for 10 or 15 minutes is pointless.

His job is to score goals and last night showed up the problem perfectly.Harry didn’t have a touch in their penalty area for the whole match. He had to resort to dropping back to provide chances for others, because that wasn’t happening. Two shots on target after 120 minutes is scandalous.

There is the talent there and the makings of a very competitive side. But not under Southgate. And somebody please tell Sterling that running into defenders because you can’t think what to do with the ball doesn’t mean a foul.
