Sherwood hasn’t finally seen the light in relation to Christian Eriksen. Oh no. It was him that spotted him in the first place.

Only in football do people come out with cringe inducing nonsense like this. Eriksen has been a widely known prospect basically since he joined Ajax in 2008.
After working his way through the youth sides, it was under our old mucker Martin Jol that Eriksen came to prominence in the Ajax first team.
It’s laughable that the man who sneered at Luis Suarez is seeking to kid anyone he somehow spotted Eriksen. And to imply that the delay in signing him saw his price rise is pathetic.
Funny we didn’t get this quote trundled out before the Norwich game, where people where screaming for him to come on off the bench.
And so to Cardiff. They have won just 5 games this season. Only one of those successes took place away from home, where they beat the surely doomed Fulham. So on paper, this is the dishing out of a 3 or 4 nil tonking we’ve been waiting for.
Cardiff’s last win was a month ago.
