Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho was linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur at the start of the season.
The 23-year-old has not been able to hit top form since his £73 million move to Old Trafford and Tottenham were reportedly one of the clubs keeping tabs on his situation.
However, the move did not materialise and Sancho is now being linked with an exit in January.
According to a report from talkSPORT, Saudi Arabian clubs are keen on signing the 23-year-old winger and it remains to be seen whether they can secure an agreement with Manchester United.
The Red Devils spent a substantial amount of money on the England international but he has not been able to live up to the expectations. Furthermore, he has fallen out with the manager and it makes sense for Manchester United to sell him in January.
Sancho needs regular game time at this stage of his career and an exit would be ideal for his development as well.
Saudi Arabian clubs certainly have the financial resources to tempt Manchester United with a lucrative offer and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops.
Sancho will want to get his career back on track with regular football and he is certainly going to get those opportunities in Saudi Arabia if a transfer goes through in January.
Regular football during the second half of the season could help him cement his place in the England squad for the upcoming European Championships as well.
As for Tottenham, they have players like Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison, James Maddison and Son Heung-min at their disposal. It seems unlikely that they will make a move for the Manchester United winger anytime soon.
