Denmark international midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg continues to be linked with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 28-year-old was linked with a move away from the North London club during the summer transfer window but he ended up staying in the end. However, speculations surrounding his future have continued in recent weeks and he is expected to move on in January.
A report from CalcioMercato claims that the midfielder is ‘looking for a new adventure’ and he is a target for Italian club Juventus. The player has previously been linked with Atletico Madrid as well.
He has been a reliable servant for Tottenham since joining the club and he was a key player for them under previous manager Antonio Conte.
Tottenham are now operating in a more free-flowing attacking style under Ange Postecoglou and the 28-year-old is no longer a good fit for them. They should look to cash in on the player during the January window and bring in someone who can help them improve.
It will be interesting to see if Spurs can agree on a deal with Juventus for the experienced midfielder.
Hojbjerg has proven himself to be a reliable performer in the Premier League and he is certainly good enough to play for the Italian giants.
He has the experience, technical attributes and leadership qualities to improve Juventus in the middle of the park, especially in the absence of Paul Pogba who has been handed a doping ban.
