Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso was on loan at Villarreal last season.
The 27-year-old is expected to return to his parent club and push for a place in the first team next season.
However, journalist Rudy Galetti believes that the player does not have a future at the north London club and he is not a part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said: “The fate of Giovani Lo Celso at Tottenham, despite the change of coaches, is always the same. The Argentine player is not part of Spurs’ plans and the English club have put him on the market again with the hope this time of being able to sell him on a permanent deal.”
It appears the Spurs will look to sell him this summer and it remains to be seen whether they can recoup a substantial amount of money for his services.
There is no doubt that the Argentine playmaker is a quality footballer, but he has not been able to live up to the expectations at Tottenham.
The £27 million star has struggled to adapt to English football at a permanent exit from Tottenham would be ideal for him.
He will be hoping to get his career back on track with regular football next season and a permanent move would allow him to sort out his future and focus on his football once again.
The technically gifted midfielder is capable of operating as the central attacking midfielder as well as a winger.
He will add goals and creativity in the final third and he could prove to be a useful acquisition for most clubs.
