Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze has been linked with a move away from the club this summer.
A report from Daily Express claims that Eze’s form has attracted the attention of Spurs who are ‘firm admirers’.
Daily Express adds that the 25-year-old was in ‘red-hot form’ with the Eagles last year and that has attracted the attention of the top clubs. He managed to score 10 goals and pick up four assists across all competitions.
The winger has the attributes to develop into a top-class attacker and it is no surprise that Spurs are keen on him. The report adds that a late move from Tottenham cannot be ruled out either. Tottenham are reportedly keeping tabs on the player and it remains to be seen whether they decide to try and sign him.
Tottenham could definitely use more quality and depth in the final third and Eze would be a solid, long-term acquisition.
They can certainly afford the winger after the departure of Harry Kane. Tottenham have already signed James Maddison to add creativity and technical ability in the final third and the arrival of Eze will only help them improve further.
They will be desperate to get back into the Champions League and they need quality players in order to overtake their top-four rivals.
Eze is well-settled in the Premier League and he could make an immediate impact at Tottenham. The 25-year-old could be tempted to join a big club this summer and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
